Did capcom ever mention anything about punishing rage quitters, Had quite a few of these today and they're beyond aggravating. Im not even all that good of a player as I'm still hovering around the 900-1100 rank

Why don't they just penalize anyone who disconnects during battle? Sure there may be accidents, but if your connection is bad enough to disconnecting being an issue in ranked battles, is ruining the game for others. Is something like this not possible?

So what's the rundown of how to use a PS3 arcade stick for the PC version? It seems like this game only accepts 360 controllers for some reason, or at least I'd assume so since that's what all the button prompts are, although keyboard keys do work. Do I just have to use Joy2Key or something?

I get you but SFV is famous for having some of the worst servers.

You can't start penalizing people for DC-ing.

When half of them is on their end.

What they can do is come up with a rank system that doesn't make you lose points if you lose. You gain points if you win and that's it, this way no rage quit.

Penalizing during a beta where plenty of PC gamers are complaining about their game crashing every 10 to 15 minutes is pretty damn stupid. This is what the BETA is for. Game isn't being released for another 6 months pr so. I know my crashes are because of the game. Not connection issues.

It's another story entirely if it's on Capcom's end. This is assuming everything is dependent on the player's side.

Or jail them by having to fight others rage quitters like in Killer Instinct. I wonder if they can deal with lag switchers. They could detect when they could turn on the lag and how long it last and how many times it occurs throughout multiple matches. This was something Halo 2 did back in the day by banning lag switchers.

So far only two people rage quit in the beta.

That's part of the reason why this is a beta. It's all a work in progress. We don't know how the servers are going to be at launch. These tests are intended to prevent them from being a mess after they've made the necessary adjustments.

And people will ragequit even if points aren't up for grabs. Some people just ragequit because they're mad at losing.

Finally got enough FM to unlock Kanzuki estate. Playing nash made it go a lot quicker because I'm assuming there are alot of new players who have no experience fighting him at all because they weren't part of the first beta

People lose more point when they rage quit in SFIV than they do while losing the match, and they still do it. It's less about points and more about not giving the other player the win. Though I agree, no use penalizing rage quitters just yet, but something has to be done in the final version.

B or H should be the select key. just try each key and something should work, that's what happened for me.
