FANG's a pretty blah villain. The writing didn't do him any favors.
How dare you mock Shadaloo's second hand!!
Seriously though, what are you smoking, he was the best part of the story.

And lol at that random hoodie dude (apparently he's called Ed in Balrog's story mode?)
I could see them doing a condensed 3s storyline at some point in order to get modern players up to speed and ready to move on.Decapre seems like a sure bet for S2, I could see Sean as well. Another story dlc is tricky do you focus around NG? Or do a prelude of what to expect for a storyline after 3s?

The story of 3S is:
Gill: YOU ARE THE CHOSEN ONE
Alex: LOL no
Gill: *dies twice*
I'm pretty sure they can cover it. The question is if they want to. SFV is at least a complete product now - but I don't think Capcom will be happy spending another year making a second story mode.
I have a feeling they knew by the end of making story mode that this game has already failed to the point where there won't be a budget to do a season 2 story.
Will be great if they take what they learned and apply it to Marvel 4 or whatever...
Also... "dude, where's my car?"The story of 3S is:

Yeah, he was genuinely funny and his voice actor seemed to be on a different level than the rest of cast. Most of the jokes in the SFV story fell flat but I continually enjoyed the running gag of him throwing down a wall of poison and running away super quickly.
MK2011: 8So guys now that you played MK and SF story mode. Whats your rating for both? I rate them both a 7.5/10. Good and enjoyable.
I was really disappointed in the lack of any meaningful scenes between Nash and Guile. It was so matter of fact, it was like Guile gave up on the storyline himself ages ago. They really dropped the ball in terms of them having a cheesy emotional reunion.
Yeah, I can't believe how badly that was bungled. Street Fighter fans have been dreaming about a Guile and Charlie reunion for 20 years, and Capcom handled it as anticlimactically as possible.I was really disappointed in the lack of any meaningful scenes between Nash and Guile. 30k on Normal
50k on Extra (Have to beat Normal first to unlock it)
It was a missed opportunity to establish Ken and Sean's relationship. Laura should have said something like "I'll give you my chess piece but only if you train me and my little bro."
Also Ken was quick to want to go to Brazil. Thirsty ass.
It's a common misconception that Ken actually trained Sean in the SF3 storyline... Ken refused to train him
Anyway, my main problem with this was the sheer amount of bugs and quality issues:
1. Textures popping/not loading on the Shadowloo Base stage
2. The game outright freezing at one point and requiring a hard system restart
3. The game slowing down at the start of matches
4. SO MUCH GODDAMN CLIPPING
5. A lot of very badly edited subtitles
6. Physics objects wigging out. Helen's hair in the Gill scene was flipping out like it was electrified. Weird as hell.

I would be okay with it if Guile's solo story wasn't all him remembering Nash.Yeah, I can't believe how badly that was bungled. Street Fighter fans have been dreaming about a Guile and Charlie reunion for 20 years, and Capcom handled it as anticlimactically as possible.
they should just release movies instead. i enjoyed the cheesyness of the cutscenes and character interactions, but the actual fighting was just as boring as the fake story mode battles.
Jesus. That's nothing.
Fuck. I have 65k in Fight Money before starting, I think I've bought a handful of story costumes and that's it. No stages or characters. I've run through all the story modes, including Guile and Alex, and everyone's easy and normal Survival.
How do people earn the FM to get all the stages? Or all the characters? Or all the story costumes?
I hate this.
Speaking of the Matsudas, it sounds like Laura is screwing up their fighting style? Sean seemed to call her out on not actually using really Matsuda Jiu-Jitsu.
Ibuki's hair in the helicopter. It's like looking at an N64 game with the cartridge tilted.

Bison really should have gone into his story costume for the last fight. They also said before launch that Beard Ryu would be part of the story...

SFV wasn't really a...
Ah forget it, I guess there's no fighting that narrative.
Wait, what narrative?
