And is the beta updating to full game or can we preload it from PSN?
You can delete the beta at this point. The SF V client should pre-load as a different game/square if you bought it digitally; just make sure you have it on Auto-Download.

New avatar get.
Anyone know how the story works with this game?
I don't follow street fighter that closely, but what everyone is saying is confusing me.
Apparently the story is after SF3 but before SF4. So then why is everyone older than they were in SF4?
ex. grey hair Bison, bearded Dalshim.
I believe it is after sf4 but before sf3. Someone can correct me if I am wrong. I am not all that versed on the topic either.

You're correct. The story order goes...I believe it is after sf4 but before sf3. Someone can correct me if I am wrong. I am not all that versed on the topic either.
As of now?
No
As of now?
No
So there's a CHANCE, though...
Anyone know if the PS4 pre-load includes the patch? Or am I going to have to go mad at midnight waiting for the patch to download?

Better start tweeting at Capcom then.
update from WBacon on Steam-
Couple of small updates - we'll likely have one last server side data wipe sometime later in the afternoon on Feb. 15 PST in preparation for the official launch.
Also, we're checking with Valve to see if we can advance our release times on Steam to match or come close to PSN's release times.
No promise though as it requires a lot of coordination with our server operations, dev, and marketing teams. In addition, we'd essentially be asking Valve to launch and support the game on a national holiday. (Note: Feb. 15th is President's Day here in the U.S. where Valve and Capcom U.S. office is closed)
Again, no promises just yet but I will let everyone know via announcement post should the release times change.
I'll be on point all weekend and through launch, so rest assured I'll be updating the community as soon as we have more info to share.

Makes a bit more sense now.the lack of content that is being shipped with the game.
more on point than majority of the Halo OT titles
Fights amongst who? The hardcore fans are the first to admit the game is barebones for now, its why the pun is so good.
The title itself is an option select, poking fun or (rightfully) criticizingThe title is referring to the ability to input multiple commands at once, something which was big in SF4, but largely absent from SFV. It's part of the change in design that's constantly caused arguments in the threads leading up to the game.
The other interpretation is basically trashing the game, I suppose that isn't totally unheard of but treating the game like it's Tony Hawk 5 with the OP title again seems counter productive.

Probably maining Nash, but Nash is ugly, so back to Laura avatar it is
Man, President's Day ain't even really a holiday. I don't know anyone that isn't working like normal..
Even Ryu and Ken, who were always seen as clones (only by inexperienced players) are now very different, both in look and gameplay.
What are you GUYS with both leaning towards, PC or PS4?
Ugh don't know if I should get into this game. If I do it I gotta fully commit and buy a stick or what's the point.

I get President's Day off.
I am still not understanding why this game isn't releasing at midnight on Steam.

Most games don't actually

Digital midnight releases being a thing would be nice.
Except for SF2, where they were 100% identical other than their heads.
Street Fighter 1 they played identically. SF 2 actually has Ryu take more damage is he's hit during part of his Shoryuken as part of a gameplay mechanic they experimented with and forgot to remove.
I've always found the whole "Some of Alpha 3 is canon, the rest isn't" thing kinda hilarious.

Where did you see this from? Regardless, it would have to have been during the recovery of the dragon punch anyway since it was the most invincible in SF2 compared to later iterations.
Same here. Mike Ross is a really cool dude.Real talk: cant wait for SFV Excellent Adventures series. Such a good time waster at work
Dragon's Dogma did not have a midnight release on Steam.I don't remember the last game I bought that didn't, and I buy a lot of games. Even Dragon's Dogma did and that is also a Capcom game.
