A couple more alternate costume concepts:

If pop-gaf were still here, there'd be a lot of "YAAAS QUEEN, SLAY" going on in response to that costume.

We miss you Garrett Hawke.

Ken Tatsu tech is so old lol...We all about them hit confirms off target combos now baby.

Btw if Ken has you in a block string and V-triggers anything off block, he is safe, that's the whole point of his V-trigger. It extends combos or offensive pressure. Don't press buttons after a cancel unless you know he's going for a throw and have a hard read or something. Generally, just holding crouch block will keep you safe.

V-Trigger on block is generally the same for each character in being + on block.

Is it a good thing? I'm not sure but I've won many matches off of the 50/50 after cancelling a normal into V-Trigger on block.

Yeah I think it should be + for the cast, I just think everyone should have a 2 bar one and a 3 bar one. 2 bar triggers make you play completely different, while I feel 3 bars like Kens or Bison are essentially comeback mechanics. I would love to strategically build my trigger but it's only so safe you can be with his step kick and it's not worth ending combos with it.

Yea characters that don't have that viable of ways to gain V-Trigger bar should have a 2 bar V-trigger and those who do have a more viable V-Skill to gain meter with (Karin, Necalli, Birdie) should have 3 bar V-triggers. This isn't always balanced though but just the way I think of it.

Laura's V-Skill overhead is -7 and it's the only way to gain meter from it lol :/

I don't think Karin would be all that balanced with 3 bars. Her Vtrigger is very good in combos but if you know the MU it's not all that effective outside of the guessing game it provides.

Ibuki should really be 2 bars though. Shit's crazy.

They should just make Ibuki's V-skill more unique.

Like she has a fake version of it and it can actually cause chip kills

Karin's V-Trigger isn't in the same bracket of Necalli/Birdie/Ken's especially with how quickly it dissipates after using the Rekka's so I do agree with it being 2 bars.

I feel like Ibuki's V-Trigger is pretty much her everything and most of the time it's also her win condition, so she should have to work towards getting the 3 bar V-Trigger, but having 900 health and trying not to die before that is a journey or something idk lol

lol, all you talking about good V-Triggers and V-skills, it's like I can't even relate.

Constant poison OP, pls nerf Capcom. As a character with 900 health it can be a pain but I end up still falling into the "not giving a shit about poison" category like every other character.

As for Ibuki, I'm not sure how you fix that. It's true that she should have to work for it but once she gets it she is basically dead so what's the point? Maybe 950 health would help?

Edit: Do V-trigger bars fill with a certain limit or is it a percentage of total health?

For Ibuki, I personally think the Kunai should be involved in the V-System. Maybe replenishing them gives V-meter as well as Kunai stock and the more Kunai you replenish at once, the more V-meter you get.

For F.A.N.G, there are 2 issues. One being that the poison sucks as it is and the other that the V-Trigger should give something new to the poison. I've seen a lot of good recommendations.

One of my personal favourites was the idea that poison can stack when you're in V-Trigger. If you get hit twice in succession with a poisonous move and/or v-skill, then you take double damage from the poison. It's upping the reward for getting hits in, but it's not overly broken since if you keep getting hit in succession with poison attacks by FANG then you're probably fucking up somewhere anyway.

The one that I suggested was affecting the stun bar. Make the stun bar decrease at 70% or 60%the usual rate (Skilletor suggested make it purple to indicate you're affected). The good thing there is that it still requires the same amount of hits and damage as before to stun someone but because the stun bar decreases slower, the threat of getting hit is much more active and sustained even in more neutral situations since stun will become a much more legitimate possibility. And again, it's rewarding you for successful play and not giving you an unnecessary edge. That edge goes away if you land a hit on FANG or dodge all his attacks.

I take this than the garbage one she has right now. Her v-skill kind of sucks cause if you use the v-skill mid screen, its pushes them back to far to keep pressure on them.

I really wanted this as a stage when I first saw Rashid's artwork so this makes me very happy.

Here's some Dan's Dojo-related stuff that was datamined.

Apparently this is going to be a mini-game with Dan as an NPC in the background. If it is then it adds credence to us getting an arcade mode.

X-Kira supposedly also found a CWA wrestling stage.

I heard that this has been on X-Kira's facebook page since September 1st, so it wasn't added in the latest update.

Just won a game in casual and the oppenent accepted a rematch, when the round started i got an error that i "lost the connection to the opponent".

Now i don't know if he just left or it's me, games before that one were fine.

Hope i don't face a ban or lose points when i'm keep playing and it happens again.

Was the match stuck during the screen transition? When the screen is fading from black and it wasn't perfectly visible because the transition wasn't fully done but it just got stuck there for a few seconds before dropping?

Cause that happens occasionally when playing in Battle Lounges.

It's kind of disheartening how long it takes to earn 40k fm off casual/ranked and missions, but at the same time it gives incentive to keep playing the game. The reason I stopped playing MKX was because I unlocked everything, and last I played I had hundreds of thousands of koins and nothing to spend them on.

Sometimes I think about switching characters online just to get the easy ~10k of FM from XP bonuses. It isn't until level ~28 or so when leveling up slows significantly.

Less than 200k from that million FM trophy. Then it'll be Extreme survival over and over again until I beat it or I die of dehydration, whichever comes first. Then platinum!

My guess is leveling slows down after 29 is because if you do all the SP content per character, you max out at 29.

Make sure you max out all the combo trials and watch all the tutorial demonstrations. Those give you money, too.

just have to time the v reversal right. i can't tell you how many times I've died because I ex dash punch instead of reversal...

Too bad it doesn't have armor.

But to be fair, if you time it wrong with a non-charge character, you would get standing hard punch/kick which wouldn't be any better.
