Oh shit, I didn't even notice that those are tires on his biceps. That's fantastic. I'm warming up to this character even more.

I really like his Mad Max alts.

I don't what you want. If you said max sucks, ok cool. You think he sucks, tha's ok. I think other people suck, I don't like total biscuit. We can have these preferences. But If I then start making false accusations as to why he sucks as that can be easily proven false by video content he released, I would be infarct a liar.

I don't think his head is too small or that his animations are janky

but the character design would still work if his arms were not so ridiculously big and if his ... the muscles between his neck and shoulders? weren't so prominent

this kind of design looked bad in SFxT with Marduk, dunno why they decided to double down with that

maybe Abigail is Omega Hugo but without the grabs, concentrating on the wall bounces instead

IIRC Omega Hugo, like Omega Gief, had a parry

but does Abigail even jump? all we see him do is that flip. maybe he needs the parry and runs to even get around

e: ah no, I missed his jump. doubt that's a special move

Well, we finally have a Canadian Street Fighter.

I was expecting worse as far as his design goes, so I'm fine with him as is. His insane height might be clouding my judgement though as it was pretty striking. His Story costume looks alright, but the Battle alt is pretty rough.

I'm still riding that Ed high, and I'm looking forward to Zeku and Menat a lot so, I'm feeling good about where this season is at, character wise.

what was the peak stream number? I know I saw 222k on twitch but I am sure someone in here has an accurate number.

The only truthful part was the " thanking them for money part." which he does, a lot. Maybe a bit too much for some, they find it to interrupt the stream. But " dance monkey dance" thing isn't really a thing that happens because max said multiple times on stream on twitter, infact on twitter right now. He will not do things, or play games he is not comfortable with playing on some level or do not want to play, one of those games being sfv, which I remember you being not to happy about. Unless you mean literally dancing , which is also something that rarley happens, and and when it does, is either a motion game or a weird rare on off thing they were having fun with.

And the begging for money thing is also not true... because he explicitly tells people that they don't have to give him money, he does this because he wants to do it. And actively checks if people are alright if they give him large amounts because he doesn't want to put people in debt or something because they are giving him money.

You know..i can just ... find your post right?

Aesthetically, Abigail = trash. Probably the worst in the game.

That top 8 though? Easily the best for SFV. I don't think Capcom could have asked for anything more while being on ESPN.

Yep, I just wish they had an announcement to match it. That together with the fantastic top 8 would have created a nice wave of momentum for the game.

There's nothing they can do to bring people back to the game besides a full reboot, IMO. I don't say expanding platforms because of the game's inherent necessity for crossplay that Sony doesn't want (this is why it will happen for SF6, though, since Sony doesn't want it anymore).

Every DLC character this year's been delayed, and it took them a year to release the retro costumes for Juri and Alex after their announcement. It just makes you wonder how much man power is being put into the game right now.

Hopefully by then, Sony gets broken into accepting cross-play. But for Capcom, the biggest hurdle seems to be them not wanting to run their own servers after the SFV experience.

Only Abigail, technically. Ed was pushed back for infrastructuring reasons, but he was complete for his planned launch in April. Even then, you could say Abigail is on time since he still came two months after Ed. Either way, depending on your metric, only one character was delayed this season.

Put SF6 on XB2, Switch 2 and PC and maybe Sony will break, but considering how Capcom's done things this generation, I doubt they're in a strong enough position to try that. Sony has them by the balls and everyone knows it.

I hadn't noticed the animations actually until people pointed it out, but yeah, they do look weird.

It looks like SF4 level animations. Which feels nostalgic.

I think a lot of his has to do with his stupid anatomy. his arms/shoulders/torso are all so ridiculously big that it looks awkward when they have the model move around.
