Lol I was freaking out because a Laura was my gatekeeper back into Super Silver, but I perfected her round 1 and got a CA finish round 2.
She ragequit, and I'm not sure if I should be upset because I didn't rank up, or laughing because she RQ'd after getting steamrolled.
Anyway, can anybody find a use for st.MK? It seems to have no real usage other than being safe at long range.
The only suggestion I would make is to knee thrust when he jumps over your booms and I don't know why but every Nash, including myself forgets to or refuses to v-reversal at times when in the corner.
Holy crap, going against Cammy as Abigail really is like in that video. Cammy players are gonna have to figure this out, because swatting them all over the place is way too much fun.
So my Obsidian came in!
Anyone know how to set this up to run on my PC? I thought it would be a simple "plug in and map", except that's not the case at all. Buttons do random shit and I don't know why.
Did you set it to PC?

how do you like abigail flux?
I am still losing most of my casual matches with him but he is fun, at least. I really need to check out his frame data. Any tips?
Yeah. Inputs will read in some cases, but they're mapped to bunch of random shit. Like X appears to be mapped to start? I have to use my keyboard to select stuff (with the B button).
time to start workin on my parrying game. I think I am gonna legitimately try to use him enough to make him my secondary character. I like him a lot.I'm losing a bunch of points with my Ranked account, but I'm getting the gist of him. I feel the most comfortable against characters who need to come to me, and the least against characters who have projectiles. Controlling space with cr.LP and st.LP will probably be important in footsies.
AAing is weird. I feel like he has amazing options when the opponent is somewhat far away, but really bad options when they're close. So V-Skill will probably be pretty important as a go-to AA option for opponents who are almost at cross-up range in the air. Speaking of which, being able to tell what crosses up and what doesn't can be a real problem. Sometimes you'll think something crosses up, so you'll be blocking the other way, but it turns out their attack hit in front of Abigail and then they landed behind him. This happens with him more than it does with other characters because of his size. Opponents who get nuts with jumping might prove to be a big issue if Abigail's V-Skill usage isn't on point.
You mean I have to play the game to get the content in it for free? UghhhhhhhhhhhThat "Easy way to earn FM" thread is on some next level entitlement shit man.
saw this in a match today - not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me or what. But if you look at Abigail from the top down, his hair looks like a Canadian Maple leaf.

It's as designed. There's a close-up of it, somewhere.
Flux - when are we running some sets? I missed you at EVO (drowned in pools )
nope
Looks like no.
If they couldn't think of anything, it should've at least given her a ponytail or put a towel around her neck.Whaaat. That's fuckin whack, Capcom.
Just looked her up.I'm surprised they didn't go w/ a Brandi Chastain reference lol
Did you verify the game cache via Steam?Yesterday morning was playing no problem. Went out the whole day, came back home at night and the game crashes after the splash image. I've tried reinstalling, deleting all SFV folders, both in steamapps and in appdata/local. I also tried finding the kiwi archive and was nowhere to be found. Any suggestion?

Tried both, I also installed in a different drive. Nothing works.Did you verify the game cache via Steam?
Sounds dumb, but if restarting the computer started the problem, would doing it again fix it?

Wow, you got fucked.Tried both, I also installed in a different drive. Nothing works.
I thought for sure they'd have her take off her her shirt and fight in a sports bra or somesuch.Whaaat. That's fuckin whack, Capcom.
Try putting the game as an exception in your anti-virus, there have been cases of Windows Defender doing that.Tried both, I also installed in a different drive. Nothing works.

I read the bolded in Rock's voice (from Black Lagoon).Wow, you got fucked.
Try making a new steam account on that computer and family sharing it.
SFV threads on gaming side are a lost cause.
Damn. Metro City Bay Area kills my PC to ~45fps.
It will be like that until it relaunches in some way. Even then, some will continue to ride the hate train.
Does Bay Area have any slowdown on PS4? Sounds like it's doing work on weaker PCs.
Not really. There're lots of people that really got burned by the myriad of problems the game launched with, some of which are still a thing today (like mines). It really degradates the overall enjoyment of the game. Then there're a bunch of very vocal ASW fans that think Capcom is the only thing between wide open success and their beloved studio. It will be that way until it releases on another platform that's where all the hate comes from.
