Pretty early to say for sure—that single set certainly wasn't any real indication—but I wonder. From the outset, it seems that Abigail does well against Cammy, Mika, and Ed.
I disagree, at least somewhat. Cammy, for example, is one of the rushdown queens, but she is easily manageable thanks to Abby's range. 'Course, if someone gets in, it's bad for him, but it's the same with many other characters in the cast with no defensive capabilities.

I hope Abigail is more prominent at the pointy end of tournaments than Ed and Kolin have been. I want to see what he is capable of.
Its funny to see many opponents try to run away when Abi charges. Many just dont know what to do. I guess that'll change in time when everyone is more familiar with him. Abigails body splat seems to have a huge hit box too. A number of my wins have felt pretty fraudulent because of this.

I made an Abby rage quit tonight after crush countering that Donkey Kong flip. I celebrated by replaying Final Fight.
I really want Edi E in SFV, almost as much as Haggar. Taco meat and 9mm and all. Capcom can give him Peter moves if they wanna be lazy, I'm good with that. I just want to beat up on a crooked cop, for NWA reasons.
I never appreciated how specific the attack patterns were in the game. Even with J/Two P and the stick and move jabs, all of the pallette sets had their own behavior.
Abigail needs to turn more red during V-Trigger to keep it 100 to the arcade.
For the first half of the Belger fight you're just indescriminately punching poor Jessica in the face.

Unfortunately, with his English VA his intro "dialogue" doesn't match his intro animation, though. Also, I just straight-up prefer his Japanese voice.

Guile's English VA IS better except for the way the JP voice says his lines for the vtrigger moves which is more hype.
Dislike them all but I'll give you Balrog, he's cool.
