More like copy and pasting animations from MKX lol. Granted they have improved in the visual fidelity of the models though and their story mode, despite it being boring, had some great production.

I think it's fine to clown other games but at the same time jabs at sfv aren't always malicious. A lot of other games don't get the same amount of flak for some of the things sfv pulls but at the same time most shade at sf isn't shitposting here (usually) so probably not fair to drag other games every time.
But I do it anyway because Gundam Versus broke my heart and I'll do anything to drag that game where ever I can.

I've seen that one whiff once or twice in professional play and my own matches. Not sure I've ever seen it land. Maybe people are doing it by accident?

I've done it once, entirely by accident. Was gonna do a jLK which is my go to air to air but my thumb accidentally also brushed the LP button and the throw came out. Left me so shook I got hit by the other guy's wakeup buttons.

Tekken has some mad goofy decisions but....
Gundam Versus is just weird. The DLC practices are absolutely abhorrent. Having to earn Strikers which are super important to how the game plays is super stupid. The balance is skewed to some of the DLC units, and the tracking for some of the suits makes them far weaker than they should be (like my fucking main). The tutorial is there, but it's not sizable enough to denote how important movement is to the game nor is it any good. And they've locked out the LAN mode because why the fuck not.
I want to like this game, I really want to. And I had plans to support it, but it's too expense to pull this shit not only to my locals but hard to recommend in good faith all things considered. NB is just being super lazy with this game and is allowing DLC to rule the roost (AFAIK, but most of the DLC suits seem super strong with Hot Scramble still being top boy)
He'd use ghosts/spirits to extend the range of his attacks (and attack on their own) like a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure stand. He'd be like a Street Fighter version of Donovan from Darkstalkers.

Honestly I was gonna write this off as 'issues of people waaaaaaay more into this than me', but I checked a store randomly and monitors seem dirt cheap. Thinking of it as an ivestment if I ever get a full computer set up.
Do I need special connectors or is hdmi fine? Hdmi doesnt cause lag right?

Friendly reminder that every single piece of content in T7's $14 DLC Pack 1 was or would have been free in previous games that launched with more content.
A lot of the people defending T7's BS finally wisened up and are giving BN shit for it. The SP and the first DLC are getting tanked in reviews because of how badly priced they are. People finally realized that "At least it's not SFV" isn't good enough.

Yeah HDMI is just fine. Pretty much every modern display device now uses DisplayPort or HDMI anyway so you're good to go. But just to be on the safe side, do check if your GPU and the monitor both have support for HDMI.

Against Menat? Yeah, she's pretty bad at handling this type of char. Necalli can just brute force his way into a win.

Yeah, I just started to go ham because otherwise it would take all day. It's probably the most boring mirror in the game.
EDIT Kolins aa jab is obnoxious as hell. hits above and behind her and she gets a dash under mixup no matter what.
EDIT loling at you trying to play lame with Necalli in this matchup. Just hold forward man.

Most mirrors are boring tbh. Either they're too fast paced or too slow paced.
The only matchup in the game that isn't a mirror and is still BORING AS FUCK is FANG vs Guile.
It's good but not THAT strong. One of the only two characters in the game with a throw invincible EX command grab. I love it.
I don't think you quite understand how bad Menat is in matchups like that. You literally just need to hold forward.
GGs, Menat seems to struggle hard against other defensive players. She can't really pursue.
