I'm reading MVC:I has a region filter. character and stage select. This better be included in S3 or SFV's population continues to drop while Tekken 7's concurrent players continues to increase on PC.

I just saw a clip of Max getting a new match in MvCI in 5 seconds. I hope matchmaking improvements like that one and other MvCI features such as online training mode, and lobbies with multiple simultaneous matches make their way to SFV Season 3.
But we shouldn't expect anything since this is Campcom we're dealing with here.

It's like they spend the entire budget on charecters, Story Mode and animation but couldn't find the time to look up on youtube to add DirectInput.

I'm really surprised at this. I thought the fact that T7 didn't have crossplay would make it dead on PC very quick.
I was proved wrong. It's the most successful fighter on PC right now, but I don't really understand why...

It looks good, runs well, netcode is decent, looks good, easy for casuals to pick up, looks good, it's pretty much the definitive version of the game right now and it looks good.

I wonder how Injustice 2 will fare on PC once it finally releases. MKX was a mess at launch, but they leared their lesson with the improved XL and Tekken proves a non-crossplay game can thrive.

Trying hard to be hype for mvci, but it looks like such a mess in action. Didnt like mvc3, was hoping the switch to 2 character would reign in some of the nonsense.

Check out TvC if you have the means. It's basically Marvel 3 lite complete with 2v2 and a more restrained pace.
Most people aren't even good enough with multiple characters to be able to bother with counter pick anyway. That probably wont be a thing until midway up the ladder since most people are still in bronzeville any way.

Oy I did my time. Season 1 of mk with Kotal, Potemkin in Xrd, Kanji in P4. I deserve to play 1 high tier character in this life.
Matchmaking may have more to do with the servers, but I could see the netcode improvements & online training mode being added to SFV.

Going by the recently announced characters, they seem more interested in announcing more Marvel characters than Capcom characters in general. I guess in their minds, from a business standpoint, that's what will "boost sales" because trendz. I'd actually be more interested in the game if Rashid was added tbh

I can see them adding more SFV type characters. They are def going for trends and next year is Super's time to shine.
