Is that so?
Hmm, both those screens were taken from chrome.Thats how it is for me between my home and work computers. My home is Firefox (looks like the top screen) and work is IE8. I don't know if thats the difference or not for sure but could be.
Anybody know why I have two different Google layouts on different computers? I'd like them to be the same.
This one has a bar along the top.

This has it down the left hand side.

Probably part of a gradual rollout, randomly (I think) going onto the site will give you a cookie that tells Google to give you the new look, tied to the individual browser, not to account or computer.
Similar happened when Youtube changed a couple of months ago. Eventually everyone will get the new layout over the next couple of weeks probably.
Where's this GIF from?

American hears strange noises
I don't think this can be viral, as it's too real to be acted, and the rabbit and dog look genuinely frightened. The bible talks about Satans trumpet summoning the angels of death.........
So why hasn't this been more widely reported?

Why do English people respond to "I love you" with "Me too"?
It sounds so weird, like "Yeah, I love myself too."
It's just a mistake. Like when the person behind the ticket counter at a theater says "Enjoy the movie!" and you blurt out, "you too!"Why do English people respond to "I love you" with "Me too"?

Mostly because people aren't so literalistic about language. Why do English people respond to "I love you" with "Me too"?
It sounds so weird, like "Yeah, I love myself too."
But I've seen it several times in movies and shows too. For instance, just saw it on Supernatural (episode 20 season 2).

Probably from male characters that aren't the type to go around saying "I love you" all the time. Maybe?
Weren't we talking about American TV?Yes us English gentlemen are all terribly uptight and repressed, don't you know!

Heh. Oh. Somehow I read that as "English-speaking."
So I was going to class this morning and since it was raining, I took an umbrella. By the time I got off the subway the rain had become wet snow and it got me wondering. Why don't people use umbrellas when it's snowing? It requires a little bit more maintenance to get rid of the snow every so often but it's so much better than walking indoors with a soon to be soggy coat.
In what kind of mood are you? Lock, Stock is more an action/comedy while TUS and SI are both quite serious. They're all solid movies but I prefer TUS over SI. However, if you want to have a laugh: watch Lock, Stock. If you liked Lock, Stock then please watch Snatch as well. It's even better.Going to put in a movie in a bit but I can't decide which one, anyone want to give me some opinions? I have narrowed it down to three: The Usual Suspects, Shutter Island, and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
Do you think a thread discussing the use of the n word would go sour quickly?

I don't know where you are, I know Sky's own service is better on the mainland. I'm in NI and when we had Sky it was horrendous, the 10MB was capped between 4pm and 12AM. It was just grim. On the other hand we now have 30MB Virgin. Today I DL'd about 15GB of stuff super fast, I DL a lot and never have problems. Virgin are also doubling all their customers speeds at no extra cost over the next 18 months. Should be July in my area, so 60MB here I come.I'm trying to decide w/c of this two companies offer the best service:
Virgin Media or Sky Broadband?
