Who's doing the voice of Mario in this Japanese Paper Mario commercial? I know for Japanese commercials for games like Mario Paint he was given a one-off Japanese VA, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. At this point in the 90s Charles Martinet was the voice of him in all media in both America and Japan (even though Mario didn't have any spoken dialog in PM).

I just found myself curious about the idea of Nintendo getting Martinet to record Japanese dialog for this commercial. Does anyone know for certain?
 
Weird question, but this has been bugging me for years.

Does anyone remember a Domino's Pizza commercial for their "Pepperoni Fanatic" line? It had a guy screaming after getting the pizza delivered, saying something like "I love this pepperoni fanatic pizza!!!", etc... this may have been a local commercial (Minnesota), but I'm not sure. It might also not have been Domino's, but I'm pretty sure it was. Thing is, I can't find it anywhere and am starting to think I just made the thing up. Hahaha. Could anyone help me find this? Thanks guys.

Yeah and same the other way. I pay the 20c for a text overseas, which is the same as local texts, but the difference is international ones aren't counted as part of my free text quota (I get something stupid like 2000 NZ texts for free with my plan). Check with him/her about their plan too.
 
In the announcement for launching NeoGAF Mobile Evilore mentions a dark theme in the Preferences section for the mobile site. Is there any similar kind of customization for the normal website?
 
Just had to meet up with my group for a Biology presentation. One of the Asian chicks was trying to modify the powerpoint for the presentation and opened up a picture browser and saw nude pics of me.
What do I do?
 
Seriously man, it's so fucking awkward. We left for today but I have to see her again tomorrow when we actually give the presentation.

It was the worst moment in my life. She just said "oops" with like this bland expression.
 
It's not even about that anymore. She probably already told everyone that the weird greek kid from biology class has a small penis.

It's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, Dr Eggman. Basically, everyone has stuff like this in their drawers, on their computers, on their cellphones etc.

Also, people masturbate, girls take shits and everyone dies alone.

However, it is a big deal if she starts making fun of you in any way because of the pictures.

That's really all you have to know.
 
I graduate next fall with a BS in biology and have no idea what I should do.

I will have about 30k in student loans (mostly government low interest). I really don't want to sit on that long so my only two options are to find some kind of dream job or join the airforce or navy. Im wondering if I should try for OCS or just enlist. Doesn't sound appealing but it makes sense financially.

If not that I'm looking for nice internships in the meantime but I dont think I want to sit in a lab for the rest of my life running PCR's. So that's a bit of a crapshoot. I dunno. I would teach but it's a pain in the ass to get certified in my state.

I accidentally sat in a seat where its for 1st priority people (elderly, handicapped, etc.) in a streetcar because the streetcar was packed. A lady then said: (pointing at a sign) "These seats are for 1st priority people, if you can read." I admit that it was wrong for me to sit in those seats by accident but was it necessary for that lady to say "if you can read" ? Me being a Chinese person, I was really offended by her message. After that conversation I left the streetcar, silent.

If any of you were in this situation, what would you have done? Was it necessary for her say "if you can read?"

She was being a bitch. I wouldn't have moved unless someone showed up who actually needed the seat, though.

Nothing says you can't sit on them, just give them up if an elderly or pregnant person comes on.
 
College GAF Question

What are good places to search for student loans (who are not Sallie Mae)?



I've been looking, but have been wary of scams. Sallie Mae had the nerve to say my credit wasn't good enough (asking for co-signer), but I haven't had any mortgage loans or auto loans, so not sure why. Maybe that's a good thing, I hear they suck.

How old are you? No 18 year old out of high school is going to qualify for a loan on their own. It's not that your credit is bad, it's that you have NO credit.
 
I'm determined to have a James Brown poster for next year but I can't choose between these two.

She doesn't know you so it was nothing personal. She was just trying to make a point and shame you into thinking better of sitting in those seats again.

Unfortunate since there was no intent on your part to do so.

Well, the strange thing is, I'm in my 30's, and I actually have a few things on my credit report. I guess I should just apply for some credit cards, buy a few things, and try again.

I know of a site with private loans, I'm just not sure which to pick.

You're probably going to have the same problem with private loans. I needed a cosigner on those as well.

I'm going to be in Iceland for a conference in a couple weeks (in Reykjavik) and have a bunch of time to kill between my 9am arrival and and the first 6pm dinner. Does anyone know of/recommend things to during the day?

(Would it be worth it to get a rental car? or a day trip tour to the Blue Lagoon or Gullfoss?)

EDIT: I'll be by myself for this time period.
 
Could someone please point me in the direction of a nice desk lamp I can use for my drawing desk on Amazon (preferably)?
 
Where does everyone buy those pants with the crosses on the butts? I don't see them in any department stores I frequent, nor any of the mall shops?

This is most likely due to being in a small town ... but is there a brand associated with these things? They seem to be everywhere on TV.
 
Has anyone ever used "Derman Fan Control" for their iMac or computer in general?



My iMac has been running really warm lately when just using a browser, but it runs rather cool when I play Witcher 2 on my windows side. Yeah, what?

I was looking into some kind of fan control software, and I saw mixed feelings on SMC and Derman. Derman sounded like the way to go, but I've seen people complaining that their fans never stopped spinning, even after uninstalling.
 
I'm gonna be away from my home computer for awhile but I'm gonna have my iPad with me. How can I go about getting my podcasts (and their various updates) without itunes?
