THat's alright. I should make a little animation and see if You'd watch it lol.

Elemental Gelade is a fun adventure show. Its nothing special but it has nice music and cute characters like Reverie.
On the other side of the coin, have you watched Twelve Kingdoms? Its pretty epic. Its kind of complex though and you have to pay attention to everything.

I've everything i could find on twelve knigdoms , dvds , blu rays , artbook cards , books ( all 12 of them in french edition , looking to find them in japanese but no luck so far ) ..i'm a huge fan and i'm sad that i've no ending ....
'im also sad that the 2 best books weren't adapted in anime

i've disliked elemental gelad . Pacing wasn't entertaining , i gave it 4 eps and never looked back ...

Aren't you satisfied enough with the Neo-Atlantean technology present on Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water? Oh, and if you liked the 'omake' sections of Aim for the Top! Gunbuster I'm sure you loved the ones from this series.

Now seriously, I'm like you... I'd want to see more works featuring such amazing aircrafts, and done properly of course! After checking the beautifully crafted panels of Dining in the Air or The Wind Rises, watching things like Mr. Miyazaki's Imaginary Flying Machines (空想の空飛ぶ機械達) animated short must be glorious! Even though a bunch of postcards are all I have seen of it, for the moment:

Thanks for the post, /XX/. There's not enough neat aircraft art posted in these parts!
At least it doesn't shares the same fate of other animated shorts exhibited but held only at the Ghibli Museum, as this one has the opportunity to be shown at Japan Airlines' in-flight entertainment:

JAL - 機内上映「紅の豚」(1992年)「空想の空とぶ機械達」(2002年)(「空を飛ぶ。」プロジェクト)

I want to see a Porco Rosso short!

Witch Hunter Robin was kinda like a police procedural too. The first Darker than BLACK series fits that too I guess.

I'm actually looking for something super traditional, like following detectives in a homicide department or something. I... sat back and couldn't figure any anime that had focused on that.

Eureka Seven Ao - 14

Not feeling the new OP at all.

At this point
Naru can die for all I care. Actually I'm praying for it. Elena going nuts and trying to take out Eureka was hilariously stupid.

With so much shit going on it seems more like a chore trying to piece everything together.

Naru is a conehead, confirmed.

Paranoia Agent 2

I've seen pieces of four episodes of Paranoia Agent, and this is one of them.

Episodes like this are the reason I wanted to see it to completion in the first place.

Kosaka Kirino Yuuichi is a bit of a self-absorbed asshole, but he's also a sixth-grader, so it's not surprising. Kids are terrible people, and that's kind of what the episode is about in the first place. You can see how the school's authority figures really fail to protect him.

Kon is on top of his game here. There's some great direction. I really like the way they intercut the rumors about Shonen Bat with Yuuichi's poster being progressively defaced. I love how we're constantly aware of how Yuuichi wants to be seen, contrasted with the way he's being treated. I'm not crazy about the swimmy cartoony paranoia, but I love how
Shonen Bat appears out of nowhere during Yuuichi's fantasies to take down Ushiyama
.

I guess
Marumi is some kind of foreshadowing vehicle? For the moment, I'm going to take the formula stuff as a sort of metacommentary about society failing to recognize the people it's hurting. I think I'd like an in-universe explanation less.

More stuff like this please. Shonen Bat is less interesting to me at the moment than the people he affects.

Nice. You will really like the series. I also was more interested in the other characters. Shounen Bat isnt so much of the focus of the show as he is the cause of events and the madness that ensues.

Remember when Macross World warned everyone that there might be censorship and alternations in the HD remaster of DYRL? And pizzaroll was all "BULLSHIT I BET THEY'RE LYING AND MAKING UP SHIT!"? Well.... har har!

According to Namco Bandai, the two Hybrid Pack versions both have shots altered as part of the retakes and restoration under the supervision of director Shoji Kawamori.

Get ready to be OWNED pizzaroll-san! :D

Yeah, if only the rumors about Porco Rosso: The Last Sortie would have been true... although if the new Hayao Miyazaki movie is really The Wind Rises (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=31332782&postcount=1932) they won't have any complaint on my part!

Erm, wut? This is not how a countdown works! Lolz.
Well, "AS THE SCIENCE, IT MAY BE NEGATIVE" says the motto of the game... so next what, negative numbers?

Now, now... that is ridiculous... and pointless as the information to come out of that website surely will be updated anyway to coincide with the SCIENCE ADVENTURE FESTIVAL 2012 SUMMER that begins in a few hours:

Yeah its interesting that he is trying to be a model of perfection and then all this stuff goes down. It makes for an fun dynamic.

This episode was especially interesting to me because bullying has been coming up on the news in Japan a lot lately. There's a huge scandal brewing in the Osaka area because the school and cops tried to hide the role of bullying in the suicide of a middle school kid (which has its own GAF thread). And this story just came up today while I was looking for the incident above.

I'm teaching in Japan right now, and while I haven't witnessed any bullying cases this extreme, it's on my mind a lot at the moment.

Oh, I see. I didn't know there was an event on Saturday. I guess that makes sense.

Sakamichi no Apollon - 12

Not a bad ending, but it just felt like a big letdown. Really how the whole show felt overall. Not bad, but not great either. Rather disappointing given the hype. The one major jazz number was the highlight of the whole series.

6.5/10

A friend of mine's family owns one of those flats near the London Eye. Suffice to say, it's well posh.

I can just imagine, however, the tears of those Japanese fans coming over after the movie opened in Japan only to discover that Jubilee Gardens right next to the eye was already a building site. Even now that it's reopened, I'd imagine it looks completely different to what it does in the movie given it now has a rather more designed look to it.

I can't find any anime set in Oxford, although apparently there's an Oxford Academy in Horizon? I'm kind of disappointed.

I can't remember if it ever appeared in the anime, but Master Keaton was Oxford-educated.

You should be proud to share an educational background with a man who can save the day when armed with naught but a bar of Dairy Milk!

Right Stuf is having a Bandai sale today and I decided to buy Season 1 of K-On to see what the fuss is all about.

Also what kind of show is Star Diver?

I was reading ghoslightning's post on deaths in mecha anime and got spoiled on
Yang Wenli
dying in Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

I feel like fucking quitting this fucking medium again.

What can I say apart from, you should always be careful what you read and other people don't have the same respect for spoilers as NeoGAF does.

Episodes 56 in Monster. It is getting a bit boring and very cliche now.
I hate how this is gonna be 74 episodes about catching 1 invincible evil man.

I don't think that's what Monster is actually 'about', if we're going to talk about English Lit stuff like 'themes'.

People should at least have the decency to mark every series they are gonna spoil when they are making up blog posts like that. Said post also had spoilers for that incident in Madoka, too.

it isn't even a mecha show al;fj;lan;g

I'm still trying to decide if I want to buy Nadia or not. I haven't really seen enough that it wouldn't be considered a blind buy at this point.

What is scabbing? Also thats kind of pathetic because my little city of 120k has a ton of free wifi hotspots everywhere, even in the restaurants. Come on London!

free w-lan sounds like communism... I don't want to share my 100mbit connection with other people.

I'm trying to not buy EVERYTHING under the sun here. You're not helping lol.
To be honest I am interested in acquiring Nadia and have been for some time. I've wanted to see more of it for years.
