There's like 60 pages of AnimeGAF to read, you guys work too fast.
So, instead of reading 60 pages of useless fluff, I will grace you with my impressions of
Uh, we were doing important stuff like ranking IS girls, someone called you out, and I think there's a Glass Fleet suicide pact going on now.
He also missed the pages about our love of delicious Christmas Cake love.
That was for the best.

Wow Keita is definitely back in the running for best character in this anime. All his scenes and his getting in on the comedy too and that scene (above) was the best scene in the WHOLE anime. Keita Tsuwabuki FTW! I almost started to ship Rindou with him, but well, Rindou would have been awesome as a guy, rather disappointing.
Good episode especially the teacher and the people acknowledging its the main characters classroom and transfer students.

Mazinger Z Movie
Sadly, this isn't a real movie so much as it was episode 5 of the series shown as a movie at some festival. Dang.
Dr. Hell has some illusion device and he's going to use to help capture Mazinger.
Dr. Hell's soldiers are pretty hardcore too. One climbed a electrical tower and grabbed a line rather than face capture. This was pretty cool though. I should get around to the series proper sometime.

That shading is so awesome. It wasn't always present but it enhanced the show when it was.

For me this episode is a necessary evil as it isn't heavy on the references ..but as everything that happens will be important for the rest of the story ..i don't mind ...

Yeah, Denpa Onna makes all kinds of other references too. There's that one scene where they are racing down the hill on a bike as a nod to The Girl who Leapt Through Time or the ending changes in the one episode as a nod to E.T.
You remember that one episode of Utena, I think it was 16, with Nanami and the cow and there is a song playing called Dona Dona?
Well in Episode 11 Maekawa asks if she can ride in Makoto's bike basket and then he asks her what it's like to which she replies something like "I feel like a cow being carried away in a wagon", or something like that anyway. Makoto then responds "Dona Dona Do"
There's a bunch more references, many of which I think Meme herself drops. Someone's probably created a wiki cataloging all of them.
