They're definitely trying very hard to push Psycho-Pass to various different demographics. There's a new tie-up with Tsutaya's Shibuya store. In the rental section, they're "recommending" Psycho-Pass to customers browsing the shelf were you get Ghost in the Shell and Patlabor discs. Incidentally, it's just above the Fate/Zero row too!
I'll miss Oreki. But it ended on a high note, so all is well. I was afraid that it'd go back to boring levels after the festival arc, but I wasn't disappointed. When things got personal, they also got better.
Not that I expected all that much from it, but Arakis flair is nowhere to be found in that JoJo video. The manga relies heavily pen and brush work for detail and shading, and it doesn't carry over at all. It's just too jarring for me.

PB's art is less Araki (pretty much a mess IMO) among Jojo's part though, just around Battle tendency and Stardust Crusader we can catch Araki's own gimmick for his art and much improved.
But I don't expect any Jojo's anime follow Araki's design closely (the 90's OVA did it well but SC have the most simple design because its Weekly manga back then) Its much easier if they make new (and interesting) design that solid enough than doing that
Only for Stardust Crusader and maybe Diamond is not Crash that I'm hoping they can pull the manga design for the anime adaptation.

Even so, do you expect things to improve from here? This is promotional material after all.
like I said, I didn't expect much, since implementing Arakis style succesfully in a long tv series is no small task, but I was hoping for something a bit better than this.
And what do you mean by new interesting designs? That's clearly not what that they've pursued, and I can't imagine doing so for an adaption of a series with such a legacy would be of any benefit either.

Looks like the Jojo series could be Part 1 and Part 2. News blogs are picking up on a comment an animator made on Twitter (he seems to be working on the show) that says the current plan is to adapt up to the end of Part 2.

That honestly looks better than I was expecting, although I'm not a fan of the framing in a number of shots or of the colours that they've used. Still, it's Jo Jo's, so I'm going to maintain some level of enthusiasm regardless.
Scenes with Yune in them are adorable but the scenes without her are boring. :/
I watched the whole series due to the positive momentum from the first few eps, but in retrospect I would have been better served if somebody could have provided an edited version with only Yune scenes.
I think this was the worst shot from the Jo Jo's trailer:
There's just something about how the CG chair clashes with the CG background and the 2D character that really irks me. Don't get me started on the character pose!
The start of this episode makes Shiro's action regarding the cliffhanger a tad more fleshed out. They skipped over a notable scene though! Yet, it is shown at the start of this episode and finalizes Shiro's reasoning in a tight package rather than leave it as a brash remark out of nowhere.
The rest of the episode focuses on increased stress placed upon Aina and Shiro to keep their ideal peace in the face of peers that feel the need, the desire, to fight. Additionally, the sense of scale when
the super weapon fired
was adequately satisfying. Those Federation Mobile Suits were in for a considerable amount of scorching.
The facial expressions in this episode are great. The heavier shading and pronounced wrinkles in the face (mostly made by Ginias) made this episode all the more tense. I made little of Ginias's drive, as
it was never well developed. However, he made for an amusing "crazy guy."
On ending notes, I called and can't believe they pulled the
"Good thing I had this small object right in front of my chest when the bullet hit!"
, but this episode was good anyways. It yet again displayed that there are always ruthless figures and traditionally honorable ones on both sides of any large-scale war. Two people simply attempted to make a difference
Interestingly enough, it would appear that the agent from Section 1 has still not received enough information to feed his curiosity over the cyborgs. Again, it's interesting to see the difference in questions and answers depending on a controlled environment. However, it makes the relationship and its nuances too blatant and spelled out for the viewer. This issue even more pronounced when the couple of questions answered were already presented in prior episodes through actions.
The episode follows with a nice chase by Henrietta
though it would've been nice to see her pummel the purse snatcher a bit
in the last episode, but this one shoots it straight out of the bush. The case is made obvious without spelling out too many specifics and that was exceptional direction. Digging up what I'd consider "old bones" in the episode immediately after and speaking on it at length tempers the emotion towards the event.
It's even worse that they went through a full flashback.
All this said while understanding, my satisfaction as a viewer with a conclusion doesn't mean Section 1's satisfaction as a distant relative to the cyborg project.
On a plus side, it makes for a simple parallel with Giuse and Henrietta, showing how much better a fratello pairing they are than everyone else!
Also, for the first time, a handler has been directly questioned under egoist ethics. I would mark this as another unnecessary blatant text, however, I don't recall it ever happening before. I am pleasantly surprised that it never occurred sooner.
Henrietta's tears towards the
self consciousness of being a cyborg and not a "normal girl."
I thought it would come up after first half and it did. Actually, I thought the idea, while not uncommon, would've been interesting to have for a few more minutes in the episode. Alas, it's only skimmed upon.
Despite my disappointments with this episode, it played out nicely overall. There's some insight into Giuse and Henrietta on certain parts of their relationship that weren't covered before. It was an enjoyable episode, though I wouldn't have minded a "Giuse and Henrietta Vacation Spectacular" simply touring all of the hottest Sicilian spots!

Well that sucks. I thought the plan was up to part 7 based on that little montage teaser. Hope it does well so they can keep going, but not adapting the most popular part from the beginning could make things problematic.

At the very least we get to Battle Tendency if true.. All the worry is we only get PB, which gonna suck.
Everything awesome in JoJo start in Battle Tendency.. I'm already satisfied for eternity if can get decent adaptation of Battle Tendency. Just because its almost impossible for that happen to DiC - SBR.

I don't think it's been officially confirmed to be 2-cour (someone correct me if I'm wrong), but considering the late night timeslot it's airing in - taking over Accel World's on Tokyo MX and Kuroko's on MBS - that's the most plausible assumption.
Previously Animax Japan was listing E7AO Ep22 (airing on 10/3 on the station, a week after MBS) as the final episode, with the next two weeks being filled by Anime Mirai reruns before AKB0048 takes over that time slot on 10/24. But now it has changed to reflect that E7AO Ep23 and Ep24 will be airing on those slots instead as originally planned with NO delay.
Since Zetsuen is still taking over E7AO's slot on MBS on 10/4, it means that MBS must have found some other way to air the last two episodes on some other slot without a delay.

Yes, but they're pretty rare. The only ones I know of are Monster (12:40 AM on NTV, 74 episodes), Golgo 13 (1:23 AM on TV Tokyo, 50 episodes), and Nana (11:25 PM on NTV, 47 episodes).
Edit: Looks like Hajime no Ippo was also one: 12:50 PM on NTV, 76 episodes.
