So is this the new future of American anime distribution? You can't milk with individual volumes, so just split up the OVAs and sell those as extra.
Could've been requirements from the original distributors (Bandai Visual/Starchild) for the license. Those kinds of details unfortunately usually stay locked away from the public eye.
Some shows don't include the OVA's. I know Sankrea and Another don't come with their OVA.

Sentai... one release includes soundtracks and commentaries and behind the scenes videos, another release strips out everything and says clean openings are a feature.

Actually, doing a bit of research, it seems that OVAs that were originally bundled with manga volumes in Japan are less likely to be included? I dunno. That seems to be the case with Sankarea and Another, at least, even though the OVA in the latter case was rereleased with the JP BD-Box.

I would rather pay a little more for the bonus OVAs and other extras than get nothing at all so long as the bonuses can actually add up to make a separate release. If there is only one or two OVAs and minor extras, I would hope they would be packaged with the first release.
For what ever reason, manga-only OVAs are much harder to get than those OVAs bundled with the individual volumes.
It's a bit of a drag until you become an adventurer.Totori is such a great game!

Muromi-san OVA
This was beyond lewd. To the extent that it was actually uncomfortable at parts.
Still it was the standard Muromi fare though I think the longer runtime actually hurt it a lot more than helped but even so it was worth a watch if you wanted more Muromi to nibble on.

Should have watched it in 3D instead. Those stereoscopic reflections on close ups of glass panels are fucking hot.
You should watch the 3D CG one piece mugiwara chase movie, it will make you come to your senses and join the anime cg hate resistance.
Not even one piece is safe from the nightmare of anime CG.

That's the first mugiwara chase, I haven't seen the second one which is called One Piece 3D Gekisō! Trap Coaster neither have heard of anyone seeing it before(not sure if it ever came out).
For some weird reason the mugiwara chase movie reminds me more of noddy(old uk cg children cartoon) then one piece.
The cg style looks similar to pirate muso game which I didn't like the look of the characters mostly franky,robin,nami and brooke.

It's not the cg but the camera work that makes the spiderman like chase scenes and fights impressive.

So we find out the dude with the turtle is Motoki, and Usagi thinks Motoki is Tuxedo Mask because he was managing a ripped Tuxedo that Tuxedo Mask has (and to be fair here, with different hair style changes, on top of the fact that everyone has normal hair color, thinking he's Tuxedo Mask IS plausible this time).
So Everyone except Ami decides to go to the amusement park, with a new dude with a turtle backpack (and Rei gets stuck with this dork). Usagi... doesn't feel excited with Motoki, but with Mamoru she realizes she still gets excited. Anywho, THANKS TO MIRRORS, Mamoru now knows who Sailor Moon is, because fuck secrets.
Oh and Sailor V actually appeared to go HEY DON'T GO NEAR HIM (kinda hard when fate keeps making them run into each other).

It's a damn shame the second season never got released in the US. It's so good. =/
I really appreciated that about the movie. You could tell that everyone involved in it was really having fun with it. The costumes department in particular must've had fun recreating character designs, but the actors all seemed to like doing the over the top bits of the game. Von Karma's breakdown scene, for instance, was so good.

No it's like a darker and edgier version of Little Witch Academia.

So thanks to everyone's impressions I was watching the whole episode waiting for the K-ON reference...until finally BOOM

More memorable for me was Tomoko's ill-fated attempt at part-time work. (Hang on, is there even any point attaching "ill-fated" to anything Tomoko does? Should that just be taken as read?) I mean, it was obvious as soon as she got the idea into her head that her expectations were going to be betrayed horribly, but even so the harshness of it managed to surprise and amuse me. Poor girl.

Armored Trooper Votoms: The Last Red Shoulder
Basically this is a 50 minute OVA bridging the first and second arcs of the original series and also a much needed background look at the Red Shoulders which I had found was an aspect that the original series didn't focus enough on.
It basically felt like you took the best parts of the original series, wrapped them in higher than the series production values and put them in an OVA. The AT battles in this were pretty damn awesome and the OVA benefits from being an OVA in a variety of ways, especially in terms of the art and more detailed mechanical animation.
If you are a fan of the original VOTOMS series this is a must watch IMO.

Decided to randomly check this out today after Narag's recommendation last month. Was not disappointed.
