Yeah. I don't use it to list hentai, but I do have some secret anime on there. I think it will be manga where its more important (they are just starting to add manga support) for me.

They have about 3 hours (CDT) to come through with that update. Really disappointed with how this series is being handled at the moment, at least for viewers that cannot watch it on Crunchyroll.

Well I wouldn't say 'guilty pleasure' so much as things I have watched that I'm ashamed about. Like Akikan and KissxSis. I only watched an episode or two each but for some reason need to list them.

Has there been much of a backlash against Yuasa's episode? Narutogate (episode 167) sticks out due to an unfortunate confluence of a history of 'quality' in that show, the kind of viewers such a show attracts, and the rather debatable quality of the animation itself, but from what I've seen on GAF, responses have been overwhelmingly positive with maybe one or two exceptions. Perhaps it's different on, I don't know, fucking youtube. But I have faith that in some of the best cuts of the episode - dat Ohira - even the 'uninformed' could see, and feel, innately, the talent and skill involved in its creation.

There hasn't been a significant backlash that I've noticed, just enough in different places to get me irritated. I think there was enough plainly beautiful scenes in that episode to ward off that kind of talk in general.

The TV series has it's good points like the action sequences. The story... Not so much.

The story is the whole point of watching it. It's pure, distilled Okada.

Animators can't change the storyline. That sort of thing would've been decided in the script long ago, the basic storyboards laid out, and the voice actors already starting to record the parts in accordance with the rough cuts. The worst that Hiromi would've been able to sneak in is something like in The Rescuers getting parents' groups up in arms. The amount of animation required to actually kill off a character would be too much work even for the god pencil. Also Viz didn't get the astral reference. But in spite of that little twist in the plot, 21 was a nice episode, I always enjoy these meta looks at the industry.

I heard from my friend 22 was the first manga-based episode in some time (and also what we'll be getting for Crystal after Rei), though the Naru/Nephrite stuff was purely added by the animators. That was also a fun episode, even with the iconic/odd moment of the Marry Poppins-ing that Usagi did from the fourth story window. I'd like to believe that

This is the best purchase I made all year. Thank you based NIS America. The commercial for Wagnaria 2 was pretty funny too. I may just buy it just to support NIS to bring over more! Never seen Wagnaria though.

I guess this will probably be explained so, with something like if it turns black you become a witch.
