Smart phones. They're dropping themselves in it more by constantly having the ability to take and distribute photos.

Luckily we have online dating now and it's becoming an accepted thing. If you're in NYC for instance, pretty much everyone in their 20s is on either Tinder or okcupid
Pretty much over. Everyone gets fingerprinted prior to working at a school (I'm speaking about Texas but I think it's standard everywhere). They see what pops up, a crime of "low moral character" or something like that can be used to dismiss you from working at a school. Something like drunk driving or theft. These women are not going to be allowed on any school grounds unless they have kids there.
As for other countries, dunno.
I have 2 serious questions.
1, if someone underage seduces someone overage into having sex is it still rape? That doesn't really make sense to me. Does that mean the kid rapes himself?
2, what happens if someone underage rapes someone overage? Is it like a double rape?
Doesn't even have to be a crime, just anything parents might get upset about. (like porn or even just nudes) Which will soon be everything.
When seduced you still make the choice. If an underaged person rapes someone older pretty sure statutory rape doesn't apply cause it was forced.I have 2 serious questions.

I think 24 year olds and freshly graduated teachers should be sent to Elementary schools before going to high school aged kids. Would help so much taking these women away from Students in their age group.
Or have a "you will go to jail!" sort of scared straight orientation whenever you hire a teacher on.
I do notice when these stories come out that it's usually a female teacher in their early 20's that end up being the perpetrators. It's funny cause growing up I don't remember any of my teachers being anywhere close to their 20's. Most were 40 or above.
You were a victim of rape. That's fucked up man.
Stupid question, but if their convicted are their careers over? Or could they go teach in other countries?

the last thread was weird because everyone kept saying the boy was the 'victim', when i think it turned out he was bragging about it?

She was good looking and I had a crush on her so I don't really know how I feel about it till this day. I'm not traumatized or anything, but it slowly became an uncomfortable experience. I'm not sure why I went on with it when I knew I didn't have to.

The line needs to be somewhere legally speaking. Morally there's grey, legally it's black and white.Ya know the whole 16, 17 year old having consensual sex with teachers really doesn't disturb me as much as, say, a 12 or 13 year old. I think at that point(16/17) you're pretty much an adult. Not much will change in the span of 1-2 years generally speaking.

That said : Personally I didn't start my path to who I'd be as an adult until 18; Rest is just a blur. Seems good to me to say 18
I banged my high school teacher when I was in high school. I wasn't stupid enough to tell people though. We still cool though I snapchat her my dick from time to time

So when the act was clearly premeditated by the teen, are people still going to argue that the teen was a victim of statutory rape?
the issue isn't just the age but the fact that these teachers are in a position of authority over the students, and if we just pass it off it will get really easily abused. You don't want people becoming teachers so that they can easily groom sex partners for themselves. That and the gender thing are why this is so frowned upon.

Isn't this the first big no you learn about when becoming a teacher? Ruining your career early on like this to target your students will never make sense to me. Crazy.
You pretty much made your snide comment. It's nothing special either.
According to court documents, Zehnder eventually sent him a nude photo via the social media app SnapChat. The student saved the picture on his phone and later distributed it to a handful of friends at the school.

According to the student, Zehnder was the assistant cheer coach at the school and he was a member of the school's competition cheer squad.
Those are large spectacles.
According to the student, Zehnder was the assistant cheer coach at the school and he was a member of the school's competition cheer squad. He told officers with the district's police department that the relationship began when he lost his cellphone and used the teacher's phone to locate his. He saved Zehnder's phone numbers and they began texting.

"This behavior will not be tolerated in Pasadena ISD. Our primary concern is to provide a safe learning environment for our students. When an educator violates the trust of a student, it makes it difficult for the majority of teachers who genuinely care for the safety and well-being of students," wrote Ivy-Sims.
I'm a bit puzzled at all the accusations thrown around. I mean, yeah, she's the teacher, normally it's a risky thing to have a relationship with a student (especially if they're not legal), and she was dumb for sending the kid a nude pic, but :
First, it doesn't say who initiated the texting, so it's hard to talk about rape. The way this happened, I'm thinking the kid is the one who started to hit on the teacher (why save her number otherwise?). But again, nothing sure. What's the age of consent in the US anyway?
Second...
(emphasis mine)
... Let me get this straight:
- Teacher sends pic of her to student over temporary app.
- Said student saves pic and shares it with friends.
- School accuses teacher of violating trust of student
... Huh? The student is the one who violated the trust of the teacher, not the other way around! Besides, having a relationship with a student has nothing to do with safety and trust, unless it was really a rape/forceful relationship, which we don't know. What a poorly thought-out statement.
