Sunset Overdrive - Chaos Squad Mode Stream

Giantbomb spoke about it on one of the latest podcasts and now someone asked on this one, why do people question how streams get a certain number of viewers?

Seems as though there's something missing from this game. I can't put my finger on it, but the game seems as if it doesn't have a direction. Just constant killing of respawning enemies. Also, it it me, or does it seem like the enemies don't fight back? I can see the game feeling repetitive after a couple of days...

Dunno every stream or video of this game has been the exact same thing on a rinse cycle. Thought mP may change that but still just grinding around in circles shooting the same enemies.

Not feeling it anymore. Definitely more akin to Ratchet and Clank but almost feels like a ratchet and clank mini game they wanted to make at one point.

Yeah this looks like it's going to be a lot of fun with a few buddies... I didn't see it but is there like a mini race to the next mission? If not they should include that... I think racing your buddies using the environment and your traversal moves would be a lot of fun.

You can't be a games journalist without being bad at playing games while being watched?

Sure you can. I didn't say they should stop, lol. Doesn't change the fact that they aren't very good.

Watching them shoot that bunker looks like playing a bullet sponge boss in Destiny.

They fire back at you.
And the guys just done some rounds with no enemies.

I like the neon lights when it is night, really reminds me of Vegas.
Stream quality is a bit low, but game still looks good regardless.

Hmmm... so it's an on-rails shooter?

;)

I do not know if I should hit your or applaud for that pun.
Also, the mutants reminds me of Dead Rising zombies on steroids.

That being said, I think more games need co-op MP because I am not competitive.

You seem way too safe when you're grinding on the power lines
Probably because they are playing in normal difficulty. I bet on Hard you cannot rely on rails.

I wonder if there's a move that lets you dance on the rail in place while shooting stuff. Dancing taunts, and keeps your combo the same... I don't know. It seems like people change the grind direction back and forward to make up for not being able to stand still. Taunt would make things more aggressive and lock on to you, and you add dancing to add the charm that JSR had.

Heck this could be in the game and it's just not shown off.

Also it reminds me of on rails (heh) segments of games, but with the ability to detach. Like a spiderweb rail shooter. On foot things look odd, rollerblades could remedy that, or actual ice skate shoes of deadly blades.

that game seems pretty fun. Its like my first time actually watching the game outside of a trailer. I'd buy it but I'm assuming this game has a heavy focus online play and I'm not interested in paying for another subscription(one thats $10 more than the one I already pay for now too). I wonder if my friend is still interested in this game... If he does get it I'll go over there one weekend and just play it extensively :3

There is like a 20 hour campaign.
