Actually yes, I normally try to talk to everyone in my class, was considerably easy since it's only about 8 people, 7 girls and myself. Everyone came off to me as..one of those tumblr girls or just like really..uninteresting I guess? I don't know how to describe it.

Aren't online dating sites essentially the same? You're going to the place with the sole purpose of trying to hook up while trying to wade through the crazies.

There are people just trying to "hook up" but there are just as many people looking for a legitimate long term relationship, and you have a chance to see their interests right off the bat, whereas in a club/bar if you choose to talk to someone, you're basing it strictly off looks.

Not that people can't or don't do that on online dating sites, but my point is dating sites have the whole spectrum: crazies, people just wanting to get sex, people who are trying to find partners with similar interests, etc.

You can't just dismiss the whole idea just because there are dumb people on those sites. There are dumb people everywhere. Even I can't completely dismiss meeting people in clubs/bars either for that same reason, though I think it's silly to think you're odds are remotely good to randomly pick up a great guy/girl in an environment like that.
