I stopped caring about what people thought long ago..became much happier that way.

Edit: If I care about that person, then their opinion will matter to me, but if it's just random people I really won't care.

Yeah, that edit would be pretty important. Of course I don't care if a random person passes by me on the street and says I dress wrong or something. If a family member wanted to give me advice about a dumb shirt or something then I might listen since they're level headed and are just wanting to help me out. To not care about anyone else's opinions ever would be a little insane.

Oh, I've played the games at a friends house. Both on PS3 and on the PSP. The game is fun and super addicting, but I don't think I like the music enough to encourage me to continue ENJOYING the game while being addicted, if that makes any sense.

It's why I rarely go beyond the OP of most threads in gaming section and try to avoid anime threads. I like a lot of things and negativity depresses me, which is in abundance with most anime and game fans.

I think you also need you remember we are on a gaming forum. This place is surprisingly close minded for those on a forum for a hobby that is frowned up for anyone pass the age of 29.

Plus you have to remember diversity is pretty low in the gameing community, the writing forum I visit have a huge amount of different people of all sorts of ages and backgrounds. (If they aren't lying)

I miss playing fighters. I only have a Wii U Smash isn't the same. I kind of made the commitment to not try to be fancy or do fancy moves anymore like I used to. I only got to prove that it worked when I played DOA 5 at my friends house and went 10-0 when he finally won. I hadn't played any DOA in years and went for the kill instead. He's pretty good at fighters too. Fallout 4 needs to be announced so I can justify buying a new console.

Yeah. It is a case-by-case basis but most judgements tend towards "Don't listen to this person/this person has nothing of worth to say" but just because most of them are useless doesn't mean I should stop the process altogether.

I think MVC3 started my descent in to not caring for awhile. Played SF4, was alright then got that and X-Factor+Jean Grey almost made me break my first ever game disc. Traded it in for New Vegas instead and never looked back.

My family wasn't that crazy, luckily. They made fun of me for watching Sailor Moon and Card Captors, but never tried to stop me.

Fun story: one time I had a severe allergic reaction to some medicine and nearly died. I was forced to lie down for three days straight with constant supervision. My sister vollunteered and put on Sailor Moon, since I hated dumb girl shows because I was a boy and gender roles whatever. The first day I was miserable. The second day I loved it.
