As I understand, Precure was garbage forever and then this new series wasn't complete garbage.

I love Kuroko but where the hell are you seeing these cute anime girls? There's like 3 girls in 3 seasons of Kuroko. Kuroko is the show you watch for cute anime guys.
Well, i can't really sell you on a series i've never watched, so... Meh. So, if you get sold on the show, it's up to you.

And I love basketball but I found it really easy to get over the inaccuracies in the show, it's all for entertainment and hype.

Yeah, I don't get hyped over stuff like that. For the reasons why I would be watching, I could just read doujins, and not waste the time.
I can't find a good gif on mobile, so meh. Everything can lead to hentai.
up to you if you ever check it out. I probably will, i don't know which one to start from though.. hm... I'll find a better gif later, when no one cares anymore.

Anyone who is on the fence about watching that show.
It's basketball plain and simple, but it's done so well that it's more exciting them most other animes out there.
Go watch it seriously, it will get you into basketball.

Yes just yesterday, now 11 episodes in. It's pretty good but obviously not much has happened yet besides the match I just saw(which was pretty short but I don't know if they'll always be this short). I can see the potential though.
Takamura is the best character for now.
It's really good at getting your expectations up for hype matches and then blowing those expectations away. A female friend of mine that has zero interest in sports actually convinced me to watch it, so I don't think it's necessary to like basketball to get into it(though it helps of course).

That's why it's so good, the training before hand is really good at getting you pumped and then the actual games are so intense and over the top it's incredible.

I thought it was bullshit they had him lose, I got a bit disappointed. Yeah Kagami was improving very fast but come on he just completely demolished them without even trying 6 months ago. At least have Aomine lose to Akashi or something.

So I played through The Order and man it was nothing. Pat was right on the podcast when saying the Lycan fights were the worst part of the game. They just charge, you shoot, press X to roll out of the way, and repeat. I would also be up against a wall majority of the time since I just entered the room and there's no reason to move. Since I was up against the wall the Lycans wouldn't really have an easy way to restart their charge attacks since they need to run back away. This would lead into their animations looking a little weird when running back or them just completing disappearing to magically poof back to a place where they can charge from.
Besides that the game is an average three out of five or a five or six out of ten. I also never get headaches, but for some reason had a horrible one when playing The Order, so my experience with the game was even worse. The game took me 8 hours with a lot of breaks and A LOT of staring at the environment. I also ran around a lot looking for the collectibles which were all garbage and feel like they added nothing. I'm also not sure what the epilogue even meant. People saying they'd like to see what The Order 1887 does, but little to nothing is set up for a sequel. There's characters to explore, but the conflict wouldn't be much different at all.
Also the main point I wanted to bring up is that I have no idea what Pat was referencing with his Gwen Stacy comparison from The Amazing Spiderman 2. I don't feel like anything super predictable happened, but then again I don't feel like anything happened. It was all very cut and dry. They give us this world with lycans and this blackwater drink, but don't really bother dropping hints of how this came into fruition. I might have missed a collectible that explained it, but I kind of doubt it. I can only guess Pat was talking about the

Then the shooting is fun I guess even though there's like 4 enemy types and they all are easy to kill. I thought I accidentally had the difficulty on Easy at the beginning, but no. A rifle with 20 shots before reloading with little recoiling can let someone easily get 10 kills or more really quickly. Air Blast was fine, but I rarely used the gun for it to be worthwhile. It's only really useful for the shotgun people that rush you like Liam mentioned. Man, The Order is boring.
I also might just be shouting into a can since I doubt any of you played it. Maybe one or two, but probably not.
I'm glad we can agree on something finally.
