I played DKC 1 when it came out. Loved it. Went back to it recently. Was not as great as I remember it, but I still liked it. I played DKC2 recently for the first time, and loved it.

I owned KI as a children, but refused to play it. It wasn't good.

Owned DKC64. Hated it. Rented Banjo. Hated it.

I only played Goldeneye for like five minutes. First time ever playing a FPS on a controller. Was not a pleasant experience.

Sounds like you just don't like collectathons. You should try out Conker's Bad Fur Day if you haven't already. It's easily the best 3D Platformer Rare made.
