What's weird is that I don't even like gum.

That's what turns me off to most American cartoons, since they're meant to be played on an endless loop it's hard to have a coherent plot. The Teen Titans and Justice Leagues are harder and harder to find.

Adventure Time and Regular Show are pretty good since I like long episodic series. But I stopped for awhile. Another good one is Steve Universe.

There's progression of plot and characters. People have died in really raw ways multiple times.

I might go into it when I have less anime to watch. But unfortunately for it and everything that isn't anime, anime only takes like, a week break between seasons and I'm usually still using that time to catch up on what I missed.
