Her english VA is the main problem.

She sounds fine IMO.

It's not that she's actually that bad, she's just far less interesting than the rest of the cast. Any dislike is just her English VA being kinda bad.

Don't bother with that, if that's why. Barroth set is great, but you shouldn't ever choose your set based on the defense value. It's all about armor skills. You can just upgrade your current armor with armor spheres if you want defense.

Every piece of a set has armor skills. Scroll over each piece. They have to be at +10 to activate, some get better at +15 or +20.

Also question should I be paying attention to resistances at all right now?

They pretty much do what they say, if you have -[a lot] in an element and take that damage you take a lot more damage. You can build armor with different resists, but you should build around armor skills.

Best advice is don't get hit.

Can't believe mine still works fine even after 11 years and having modded it. Though I do worry sometimes of whether I should take even further methods of modding and get my games all on to a hard drive. It has to give up eventually.
