I think it's impossible to say no more lewd with the amount of people that post here but I'm definitely going to cut down on it and encourage others to do so.

In other news, I found out that my assignment is actually due tomorrow which is a big load off my mind as I was only 80% done and looks like shit. Gonna make myself a cuppa and just wind down, this hurried-ness is not good for my health.

I feel the same way, it's really hard for me to get into those kind of games for that reason.

Oh Pat I wanted to ask you a question: How often do you finish games? You probably gotta play a lot of new things to keep the podcast fresh but sometimes I hear you say "X is pretty good/great/crap/shit" but you don't follow it up the next week (Wasteland 2 being the clearest example)
I will give you some advice for Divinity though, you can't create anything meaningful until you put in a couple of hours. Once you get a handle of the game's systems, you can just restart the game. But the game is pretty good at giving you companions to cover your deficiencies, and you can easily change into different classes (or their skills, discrete classes don't really exist).

Make sure to read and exhaust dialogue trees though.
Pat, that is a game with a shit ton of dialogue. Most of your combat will be passive/stealth. Be forewarned.

You get used to them, they're really not that bad. Speaking of horror games though, I really need to get back to Evil Within and SH2. Fucking exams are the worst.

Fallout games are ruff to go to after playing stuff like 3 and New Vegas.
There is a distinct difficulty curve.
Out of the ones Pat mentioned I beat Shadowrun Returns and the Dragonfall dlc, but I haven't finished Dragonfall Director/s Cut or Divinity Original Sin. Fun games, though.
I have even better advice. Dump all your points in to Wisdom.

Tank controls are the best. They take getting used to, but when you do, ooooh, so good. Learning the tiny nuances that let you shave a couple seconds off a speedrun is so satisfying.

That's actually them doing their job. Plus once you get used to them, you actually can play better than with 2D controls, since there's so many camera angle changes. I almost forgot SH2 had tank controls, it was really awkward at first, but I got used to it. Its not like I need to pulling off DPs or character action combos to win at that game.
And it didn't seem any worse than usual to me. Nothing said here compared to OT2-3 (unless it was before around 4 am). I mean I think its easy to ignore and it rarely happens except when people get really bored.

You mean using 2D non-tank controls? I've had to get gud at that because of DMC, but I find myself wishing it was tank controls when walking around, though it would ruin combat so whatever.

I think I like Snake's codecs a bit better, but it is intresting to see a realistic spin on these the characters' lores.
