I think hours and hours of Vanilla just kinda make me dislike it.

Brutal Doom is the one version of Doom worth playing in this day and age
Vanilla Doom is still damn great. It's legitimately timeless.

I still find vanilla doom more enjoyable, but I also think its the best game ever made so that's not surprising.

Yes! I finally convinced my friend to play Persona 3 after a huge spiel last night, he just confirmed he'll play it when he finishes Dark Souls.
He's heard Mass Destruction, but he hasn't heard it for 80 hours. Can't wait to sit through the whole thing with him.

Oh god no, for many reasons no. Having to talk over a game that long would destroy us and with our setup hearing the music is hard, not to mention 90% of that game's dialog is read. That would be awful. Just gonna play it whenever we hangout.
