I don't think I used them much if ever. Having the normal attack felt like the best way to get damage output, but was intensely unsatisfying,

No idea. Maybe they're just not hiding how they feel about the situation.
Power attacking was the best, you'd charge into them at sprint speed and stagger them or force them onto the ground, or just wreck their shield, it was very satisfying to play Melee that way.
Always did way more damage too.

Yeah, but its grey of all things. Just seems weird that they chose that specific color when having grey hair usually means you're super old.

I believe it's suppose to be silver, not grey, it comes across better as silver in certain versions of the artwork.

I always played it as an archer for a reason, that still had it's faults though.
I mean it's not Gintama silver, but it is more of a dark silver.
I'm pretty handy with the basics of the creation kit, makes me wonder how the game would play if I took Power attacks and made regular attacking act exactly the same, and then actual power attacks become like Power attacking x2, might make things way more interesting in Melee that way.

I went to magic immediately after trying out Melee for an hour when I forced myself to beat the game. Even Magic wasn't fun. There's no recoil or sense of dealing damage.

An actual answer I'd give would be that it's probably a money thing. These fat ugly old guys probably barely get paid, if at all and are fine with that, as where a handsome young stud is gonna need at least some money, and since this porn is only made to appeal to men, they probably don't care to pay for good looking men, since these fat ugly ones have dicks all the same.

Not to me. Sega told me that the Yakuza has sick tattoos all over and have huge battles at millenium tower.
I always play stealth so that I can avoid combat altogether.
the cool ones do, the rest (99% of them) get their faces kicked into the curb by the cool ones

Nah. You watch the movie after the series. There's two movies before it that retell the anime, but you don't need to watch them.
I watched just recently and posted in the thread about it. It was definitely something. I recommend watching it.

2D animated. I prefer sprites to models 100% across the board. Xrd is the single and only exception and hopefully this style gets embraced and becomes a standard that is even further improved upon.
I'm going to, but my friend wants to now and scheduling is weird, so I don't know when I will.

I am glad that SF4 and SF5 have the art style they do though. There's enough anime and 2D fighters on the market already
