god im still fucking pissed about the superbowl.
Are you a Pats fan will be an actual question I bring up in future relationships (much like are you a Michigan fan, is being a Notre Dame fan).
It's a bit tin foil hatty to accuse the Colts of being the reason the ball was deflated.
Then again, its also equally as stupid to all the people with blind hatred toward the pats to just accuse them of shit without evidence.
or even knowing what spygate was
or caring that there are teams that got caught doing much worse, competitive edge gaining things, than the Patriots.
Like the seahawks, funnily enough
Jerry Rice. Pot meet kettle.
You big, dumb beautiful bastard.“When he made that interception, your heart just sunk, like with joy,” Gronkowski said.
It gets less and less "tin foily" when you consider that it was the Colts GM that leaked the original story about the footballs being deflated, and then again the colts leaking the story that 11 of the 12 balls were way under. To quote the Patriot haters, "This is why I hate Indianapolis fans and all their sports teams." I don't really, but it's fun to pretend to be irrational and delusional.
What happened with Rice?
Also, here's a quote from Gronk about Butler's INT:
You big, dumb beautiful bastard.
Montana won the first without Rice.
Montana won the first without Rice.
The first 2 you mean
Eli still has one more legit win than Montana. Goober is GOAT.
this.
Did Joe stop a perfect season from happening? NOPE
Eli the god is who will be remembered in 2000 years
if the giants win the superbowl next year i'll have to believe in the super natural
So much Patriots porn coming out of NFL network. Liquids out of all my orfices.
Now they have Manning getting crushed in last years SB. This can't get any better.
Same. The MICed up stuff is amazing. Pete's "Oh no" moment is going to haunt him, but it's great theater. Brady's scream reminds me of the commercial with the screaming goat, which is fitting since Brady is GOAT.It's so good. I can't turn it off.

in a world where montana was never born maybe
Jerry Rice negated Joe this week. Poof, just like that he's gone.in a world where montana was never born maybe
I don't know as I've watched it over and over Sherman was never sure. Not just in that infamous .gif. When Kearse caught that ball there's footage of Sherman still looking like it wasn't in the bag. I wouldn't blame the others. Should have been over.I like how everyone was kinda of grinning before the play went off. Like the Seahawks 100% sure that they were going to score.
It was definitely Dick who is caught on tape early in the second half saying Brady had no more heart left though. Right before Brady marched all over his defense.I don't know as I've watched it over and over Sherman was never sure. Not just in that infamous .gif. So... since the Patriots are the defending super bowl champs, they host the first home game.
I was planning in flying me and my dad out to catch the first home game, but seeing as how the the AFC east is playing the nfc east this season, and my dad is a huge redskins fan, that is the game I am going to take him to.
What are the chances the pats will host that game.

Happy one week anniversary of the greatest win in the history of sports.
Just watched the NFL Films mic'ed up. They're just so good.
FIrst Sunday without football since August/Sept though. Feels bad.

Did you enjoy this win more than the other three? I did. I've been riding this high all week.

The Rams won was emotional but I was young so I didn't appreciate the win as much as I should have.
Hmm. Do the have mic'd versions of the other patriots super bowls
That was a really good mic'd up vid. Really love seeing the emotion on Malcom Butler's face, can't help but feel good for the kid.
For me it was the fall and then rise of Butler that was so touching. His body language as he came to the sideline after Kearse made that miracle catch on a play that Butler defended really well is heart-breaking. Especially when you know the kid's history. And then to see that completely change two plays later is just remarkable. NFL Films captured that really well.
What's the kid's story other then being a rookie and all?
Too bad they won't release the mic-up video of the fight.
Great video.
lmao @ "Oh no" in the end from Carroll.
Kearse: How'd you get so open?
Baldwin: Cause i'm a beast that's why!
Lol yeah fucking right. more like because the ref picked revis. 1 catch for 3 yards is garbage. is there a worse #1 wr in the league than doug baldwin? i'm struggling to think of one
That's definitely the downside of NFL Films. They paint the picture they want you to see. Not the whole picture.
The NFL misrepresentation of the Baldwin catch is ridiculous and makes me distrust everything else in the Film.
We got so frustrated watching that play... it'd be one of the plays I just can't stop thinking about if we had lost lol
Just an amazing play Butler did, no one could have predicted or anticipated it. He deserves mad kudos.
I am hoping the Hawks have $ to go around next year. Need some very key players back ie Lynch, Maxwell, Carpenter, Smith and a handful of others.
If I was Wilson and truly wanted to be a Hawk forever then I'd sign a very team friendly deal.
I'd still be complaining about that touchdown but the Kearse catch would hurt more.

He's a 26 year old super bowl winning QB, he'd be an idiot to take too friendly of a deal. Especially since he's been paid absolutely nothing up until now.
Yeah definitely. Too similar to 2007
He's also young and you never know what the future holds. Kid needs to get paid now, but Hawks have to be clever about cap usage too
