Super Mario 3D World - Introduction video

It looks really good and I loved Galaxy, but I wish they would come up with something like Mario64, with huge worlds to explore.

Looking good, although the video had some compression or something from what I saw. I avoided watching most of it because I don't want to spoil anymore to myself before getting the game!
 
I love how there are 2 types of shadows in this game.

The on in the scenary that uses real life shadows and lightining

And the one on usefull stuff like the characters and blocks, which is ALWAYS right below then for better identification, unless when the stage says otherwise (like the shadows only stage)

This game looks awesome, although the over-use of the smoke effect when they run around... or move in any way... drives me nuts!

Wii U may end up on my Xmas list for this game alone!

Hahahah the "gameplay based lightning" really helps in 3D platform games =P
 
I have to admit that looks like a lot of fun. I had not been too interested in this as it looked too much like 3D Land to me, but in this video, I can see how it really is a very distinct game.

I do not have a Wii U yet, but this game is starting to tempt me!
 
Wow some of the features and levels towards the end of that trailer look fantastic. Miiverse is gonna rock.

No other company can match EAD Tokyo in this genre, can't wait.

seriously dude? that's just asking to derail yet another thread about this game with a bunch of people arguing over the best 3D mario game. Just say it looks incredible and leave it at that.
 
This shit is off the chain yo. Both graphics wise and in terms of concepts, I'm feeling dat Nintendo magic. I don't own a Wii Y and am not planning to buy it anytime soon so I don't know what to do. Other than listen to some Linkin Park.
 
Level design looks crazy varied and awesome. Still waiting for the inevitable Galaxy-inspired levels.

Where's a sample of that new amazing OST!?
 
There are those who said Sonic Lost World looked more fun and creative then Super Mario 3D World, what are they to say now?
 
This game seriously looks really impressive. Nintendo needs to put some hardcore marketing muscle behind this title. Hell the smart thing is for Nintendo to pretend like the WiiU was launching for the first time this holiday season, with this title as it's centerpiece.
