They should have made the movie look like a GameCube game, after all the comments over the years about how graphics don't matter.

?????

Weird take.

Nintendo games prioritize gameplay over graphics because video games are mostly about how fun the gameplay is. Movies don't have gameplay, they are visuals. So of course they'll push the graphics.

I like that both games in the collection are getting a 1080p/4K patch for Switch 2. I find it funny that people would think that Nintendo would sell these for less than they are. I'm actually somewhat surprised that they're only $40 each separately with the way Nintendo prices their stuff.

I was kind of expecting that the Switch 1 cart would be $59.99 with a $20 fee to upgrade to the Switch 2 version. I'm surprised to see the Switch 1 cart for $69.99 with a free Switch 2 resolution patch for both games. Nintendo is milking the existing base for this one. I'll probably cave and pay it because I really want to experience these games in 4K.

Oh, I thought you knew a secret lol. The funny thing is 3D All Stars is still technically a better value, but that value is now around ~79.99 to 89.99 through ebay.

3DAS was terrible value all things considered, but it was something I was willing to live with. I feel like Galaxy 2 at 40 fucking bucks is insulting by itself and it also reminds me that I got shafted by 3DAS already. I obviously don't think Galaxy 2 is that straw that breaks the camel's back, but Nintendo is really pushing their luck with pricing. Mario Kart launches at 80 and it's outrageous, but Bananza was 70 and all is right, right? Maybe 80 was a fluke. Except Bananza got DLC within 2 months of its launch, so it's very clearly withheld content. That DLC costs 20 bucks. Bananza now wasn't 70. It was 90.

Wow. Nintendo really doesn't give a shit about their fanbase and yet their fanbase will eat this shit up. Every time they build up some good will with me again, they do stupid shit.
