Tested mine and it works. Can't speak to lag, just tested that the buttons and stick were operable.
Did you keep the Ryu artwork from your TE2 or you covered the artwork?
I've spent an hour or so trying the stick with different games and it feels really good but strange, I suppose it's just going to take time to get used to it.
Really like it although I do still prefer the Ryu stick.
Not keen on the fake 3D art so I am wanting to change that, has anybody seen a high res copy of the same art, but without all the logos and stuff?
Only if easy-to-swap art and easy access is worth another $80+ to you.
Kai stick is slightly more to the left than Hayabusa. Nothing else.
The Mad Catz store is out of the different colored bezels for the TE2+ sticks. Does anyone have any idea how often they restock their online store? Thanks!
what is the difference betweenthis one:

and this one:

The second one looks much better
the bottom stick also uses the new matte hayabusa buttons instead of the kuros
The second one use new Hayabusa buttons instead of Kuro, few english reviews about them.
They are shorter and matte finish. And apparently better.

Thanks but it's actually the Chun Li art that I want, I really like it but there are few things that I'd like to change. Here ya go.
How come people love Sanwa so much but hardly anyone ever mentions Seimitsu. Was it Madcatz sticks using them so everyone likes/thinks they're the best?
For me, it's the Seimitsu gates wearing out quicker, that keep me away from their sticks. I like the pop sounds that the buttons make.
I'm curious then as to why the Amazon page for the 4 Kai (as well as hori's own site) says hayabusa buttons as well.
I'm doubly curious because I just bought the 4 kai a month ago and it definitely does not have matte finish buttons. Would kinda suck if there's a 'new updated version' now shipping with these apparent better buttons now.
Why is that? I'm not too familiar with gate wear, or any wear for that matter. I hear people really like the LS-40 compared to the 32, is that made of better materials? For me, it's the Seimitsu gates wearing out quicker, that keep me away from their sticks. Does Hori only offer sticks with their knock-off parts? I like the lower price but the one on amazon isn't full sanwa.
Yeah, I like that one too! I didn't order any blue buttons, but thankfully the stick comes with (dark) blue as factory so if I can put up with it feeling different, I might go that route.Should look good! Alternatively you could try 4+4, whether two rows or uh, two L shaped Tetris pieces if that makes sense. Or get a blue button and copy the Virtua Stick:

Whatever happened to Lizard Lick?
If I get myself a Hori RAP 4, can I put Sanwa parts in it?
The store just stopped shipping out orders, while receiving new ones. They even stop giving back people's refunds. I was lucky to get my refund back in time before their website went offline. You can read more about it from other customer's experience in the SRK tech talk section.

What a fall from grace.
To be fair, it was a surprise to _everyone_ that it closed in the way it did. Chad just kind of fell off the face of the Earth. There were also no signs of it happening, because he was always a very friendly, helpful guy on the forums and in emails. The fact he ran everything so well made it that much more of a shock.
That's crazy. They were always good to me. One time they even threw in an Orange Bubble top for free when I ordered an LS-32.
You can swap everything to Sanwa parts but honestly I don't think it is needed. Hayabusa stick is really good and I think the buttons are better as I get way less accidental inputs compared to Sanwas.
Has anyone been using the PS4 Venom stick?
Looks like a good price for a beginner stick, perhaps swap out for Sanwa parts later on?
Yeah, I heard the Hayabusa stick is good. Did the RAP 3 have one such stick? I owned the RAP3 until I sold it recently. But I imagine the Sanwa buttons would be better?

yep, new art just slapped over topSo I'm getting ready to sell my TE2 stick which I barely used and has always been well stored away only to realize there was a bunch of superficial scuff marks on the plexi. I try wiping them off with a damp cloth only for some moisture to slip underneath. So I immediately take off the frame for the first time, and the plexi.
What I wasn't aware in doing so is that the TE2 art work seems to be plastic, and glued down? Is that normal? When people customize their stick, do they just put the artwork overtop of the existing glued down artwork?
What is the difference between the Sanwa buttons and the Kuros buttons (which I assume Hori RAP4 comes with?).As far as I know RAP3 had Sanwa parts. Hayabusa stick is pretty new actually so I am pretty sure it didn't have that. Neither of the buttons are objectively better and it is more about what you prefer. Lot of people like Sanwas more though but some people like the Kuros more.
Yeah, I honestly thought the buttons on RAP3 felt kind of cheap. Hope they feel better on the RAP4.RAP 3 has Sanwa Stick and Hori standard cheap buttons (not the Kuros).
