Or just don't believe me, I don't particularly care. I'm not trying to start any rumors here, and I don't have a history of spreading false information.

I don't think it'd be wise to say something like you said and then not be able to back it up with pics. It could very well be true, but I wouldn't want to see anyone get in trouble for saying something as bold as that and then not be willing to bite the bullet with pics, my 2 cents.

Okay I made a list of all the different possible and likely outcomes and posted them back a few pages.

But here's MY two predictions:

Tonight: Diddy will be revealed

Tomorrow: Palutena CGI Trailer.

OR

Tonight: "Don't miss the Direct!" picture.

Snake comes out and finds a Metal Gear attacking him and destroying the platform below him. As he falls, his vision blurs and suddenly, UNITE HAND.

The Wonderful Ones come out to his aid. The trailer ends and then the game transitions to both characters fighting Metal Gear Ray in the new Boss Battle Mode.

There weren't any cards though, just labels.

A buddy of mine who works in Nintendo's marketing department just sent me a pic of Smash Bros. Wii U pre-order cards at Target - apparently they just became available this week. The thing is, Target only puts these pre-order cards out up to a few months before a game's projected release, which means if Target is putting these out now, Smash has to be coming out sooner than the holidays... it's very possible that it's summer if this Target indication is anything to go by.

Just food for thought!

Eh, I remember seeing display cases with photoshoped fan covers well over a year before Brawl came out in stores over here. If it's an anticipated game like kart or smash this sort of thing is fairly common.

Same here, but Nintendo also need games to move their boxed cancer, so it'd probably be better sooner rather than later.

That's interesting, but I recalled that they did put few game cards out even like a 6 months to 8 month before they release but I could be wrong.
