I absolutely loathe DK's modern dumb voice.
BIRDOMake Birdo cool.
Saria, befitting a Sage of Forest, attacks using a combination of the natural gifts given to her by the Deku Tree as well as magical attacks proper. She's a quick and nimble fighter, though her greatest strength is grounded, as one might expect, contrasting her from your typical light, aerial-based character like Kirby.OK, my turn... Someone make me a move-set involving...
Saria, from Ocarina of Time.

He sounds like Scooby. Is that a plus or a minus?
Saria, befitting a Sage of Forest, attacks using a combination of the natural gifts given to her by the Deku Tree as well as magical attacks proper. She's a quick and nimble fighter, though her greatest strength is grounded, as one might expect, contrasting her from your typical light, aerial-based character like Kirby.
Many of her normals would be magical attacks similar to Zelda, but her aerials have her Fairy assisting her, spinning about her person and helping her extend her reach. Unfortunately, it doesn't do a lot for her power - keeping Saria on the ground as much as possible should be a priority if you're playing her.
Neutral-Special: Fairy Slingshot. Saria pulls back the Fairy Slingshot and fires it forward. The button can be held and the Slingshot aimed upwards or downwards, but Saria cannot move while aiming. This can be shot fairly quickly, but does minor damage and little-to-no knockback. Its utility is in its versatility - try pegging opponents off the stage to take their second jump, or pepper opponents with it from afar to rack up some easy damage.
Side-Special: Deku Stick. Saria swings a Deku Stick forward. If she doesn't hit anything, she keeps the stick out until she uses a different move, meaning she can swing it extremely quickly after pulling it out. The stick will break after striking anything even once, but is a fairly strong swing and much longer range than Saria's normals. As an added bonus, if Saria is hit by a fire move with the stick out, its tip will light up and when she attacks with it it will be a fire element attack. This is just for fun, though, and doesn't affect knockback or anything.
Up-Special: Deku Leaf. Toon Link doesn't seem interested in using it, so Saria borrowed it! While on the ground, Saria will swing the leaf forward, emitting a strong gust of air that will push opponent a fair distance but do no damage. While in the air, Saria will do one final little hop before pulling out the leaf and gliding forward on the air currents, giving her tremendous horizontal recovery. She can press down at any time to cancel the leaf, but goes helpless afterwards.
Down-Special: Deku Nut. Saria tosses a Deku Nut forward into the ground, emitting a strong flash of light. This stuns any opponent caught in the blast, much like how the item worked in Brawl but weaker. Any airborne opponent hit with the nut will be subjected to a weak meteor smash, but the nut is small enough that it should be easy to dodge, right? Just be careful if Saria opts to throw in some slingshot pellets as well...
Final Smash: Spirit of Forest. Saria plays her Fairy Ocarina, using it as a tool to harness the full power of the forest. Deku Babas sprout throughout the stage, trying to grab opponents and hold them in place in preparation for the second course: Wolfos! The Wolfos run through the stage and attack opponents, and at this point Saria herself can assist in getting a few KOs. The Babas can be killed outright if they take around 20%, but the Wolfos are invulnerable and will stick around for the typical Final Smash duration.
I cheated a little since I already had the Special Moves written up haha.
Next person: let's see Tom Nook - and not as a Villager clone, either!
Wow! Awesome ideas, guys! I especially like the idea of Saria using all of the Deku-themed items. It's funny, I've always liked the idea of Saria being playable (although I'd never expect it), but I never considered her using Deku Nuts, the Slingshot, etc. Makes perfect sense, though.Neutral Special: Slingshot
Up Special (Recovery): Minuet of Forest, Plays Forest Temple teleporting song.
Down Special: Deku Seed Flash + knockback/stun in close range
Side Special: Wind Push + No Damage but HIGH Knockback (Ode to original Wind Temple)
Standard attacks are Deku Stick attacks!
Smash Attacks have the Deku Stick on fire.
Welp. I gave it a shot haha
Edit: Gah. Beaten.
Someone do Chibi-Robo for me![]()
Alright. All these Jojos have gotten me interested. Where do I start?
Fuck it, I got bored. Here's my ideas for a Waluigi moveseeet.t.tygf..
I don't see one yet.Still no miiverse comment huh?
Oh yeah, give Little Mac two pictures after reveal then proceed to show nothing. Why does Lucario get pictures all week long when he's just a returning fighter, and Little Mac, a newcomer, gets two? Trust me, I'm extremely happy he's in, but this blatant mistreatment is disheartening.
DISCLAIMER, I'm actually not that upset about it. Just thought I'd point it out.
I'd make a Waluigi moveset, but I'd rather see what someone else can come up with, plus, I'm feelin' a bit laaaazy.
Well, now that is an interesting comment."Pic of the day. This dog is huge Wait, no, the playable characters are small. The Smash Bros. series doesn't always stay true to scale."
OH MY GOD
