Yveltal's a background character? Which stage does he appear in? He's my favorite legendary...
I know, but still, the PotD thread's been around to sponge-up most of the hype. Even now, with an actual OT, though, most of us don't even have the game and it's just about filled.
Apparently (s)he shows up very rarely during Prism Tower, which is strange; you think a legendary Pokemon like that'd avoid something as bright and flash as Pokemon Paris.

Just to confirm, I can still u lock characters with time via a stock match right?
Maybe in the WiiU version he can be a Pokeball Pokémon that flies up and then unleashes Oblivion Wing.

So why isn't this thread moving as fast as the old threads were? I'm guessing because we already know everything about the game (outside of potential DLC)?

because we're in this awkward phase where we know almost everything but most people don't have the game
that being said, smash threads move faster on hype than on actually playing the game, so I don't expect threads to be filled up like they were a month ago
Hopefully. I'm also hoping Wobbuffet's back in the Wii U version, too... And Manaphy, since I can see it being hard to work on the 3DS, and Pokeballs don't have forced-parity. And I'm guessing since there's a larger music selection, maybe Jirachi/Celebi will be back to drop off CDs?
Yup. That, and the fact this isn't the PotD thread, which had new news every day; as soon as Sakurai entered Menu mode, the leaks popped their heads in, so it was nonstop hype. Now, the game's out, so the excitement over info on the game and tournaments goes here, but some people are staying spoiler free, and most of us still haven't gotten our hands on the game yet, barring those of us who got the demo.

If I recall correctly, they co-own it. Koei Tecmo still owns half of it.
Would definitely be interesting! Plus they've been working with Tecmo a lot lately, anyway; I can easily see them being a 3rd Party possibility down the road.
There is a trophy, so it's possible. I'd like a spooky stage.

Lizardon is a bit too kaiju; but I agree that it would likely have gone over a lot better than Zenigame and Fushigisou.

Well, for plot reasons, it's impossible just to be there and live.
Hey, I've been hoping for this stage since Brawl (So before I've even played EarthBound, admittedly...}. If any Nintendo Villain deserves to be a stage hazard over a playable character, forget Ridley (Beyond the obvious "Because he can be a character" argument), forget Metal Face, forget Ultimate Demon, and completely disregard the Yellow Devil, it's Gigyas' destined-role, hands-down.
... Seeing how, well, (s)he is the stage

I kind of left the scene a while ago. So, if I remember, the solo aspect of the game isn't very meaty, right? Smash Run doesn't exactly seem like the best replacement for Adventure Mode.
Sounds good. And I take it you've claimed Reshiram White Charizard, which is cool because I've already claimed Charmeleon Dark Red Charizard.We'll have to do that in a couple weeks then.
(Although Reshiram is, admittedly, one of my favorite legendaries)

Almost 700 trophies. Two are from the Metroid series - not including Character or Assist Trophies.
edit: lol unless you count the "Gravity Feature" as an original trophy. Which is just the Other M Varia Suit glowing purple
