Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread 8: Put mii in, coach

It's 3am. I better sleep. I'll read up on the roundtable later.

Great E3! Awesome news, great footage, awful date but if it means an even better game, then sure! :D

From meleeitonme

A tier list based on a demo? They should wait until the game comes out.

Leaked list is not gospel anyways. We got Rosalina and I'm pretty sure she was never mentioned in it.

Original leak was first E3 newcomers + Mac, Pac-Man and Mii right? And the revised added Chorus Men, Pokemon from X/Y, Palutena and Shulk? So yeah, never mentioned Rosalina, and yet there she is.

So IF it is real, I don't think it's a fair thing to assume it includes everything. And I, for one, still consider that someone could have gotten very lucky with a Wii Fit Trainer guess. In either case, don't worry about it.

Can't believe people are still in denial over this Gematsu leak, I imagine if Sakurai said tonight "yep all the newcomers got leaked" people would still say "nah he got lucky"

It could be real, it could be fake. I don't care either way. I'm just pointing out that we got newcomers that were not on the list and that people should not be as focused on it as they seem to be.

Looks like Brawl 2. So get ready for another Smash Bros with absolutely no combos at all. Get ready to have some really floaty, long matches.

I'm sure it'll be fun for a bit, maybe with more competent online. But I've already played Brawl. I really wish they would have changed things up a bit more.

If anyone is curious to know what the tournament scene looks like for Brawl although I'm sure no one is: people play it less than Melee now; and, most of the people that play it seem to hate it.

Not everyone thinks the Gematsu leak is all the newcomers left, but I think the odds of him being a legit leaker is 95%, calling them Mii Fighters before today, getting WFT period, getting Villager after Sakurai said they weren't fit for Smash

The leak is real, there is no reason to assume it's fake at this point, Chrom, Shulk, Chorus Man, and Pac Man are going to be playable no matter how much people try to deny it.

That's not the impression I got at all lol. Looks faster and no instand airdodging.

Didn't people had the game already.

Hey guys, been busy all day recording with GameXplain, but I will be making a detailed post later with all my Smash impressions, experiences, answers, etc.

More importantly, I just got seated for the Smash roundtable discussion and will be live tweeting it unless they tell us to put our phones away. If you're interested in those live updates, follow me at @AshPaulsen!

See ya'll on the other side. :)

It amuses me people are already bitching about a game essentially in Alpha.

If it ends up being Brawl 2.0, I don't think people will care and will migrate to Smash 4 regardless. If the online is solid, that will be enough to put Melee on the backburner with games like MvC2 and 3rd strike. Still played, but not in the spotlight.

People stopped playing Brawl after only a very long time of them figuring everything out and realizing how absurd Metaknight and Snake were compared to everyone else. Oh, and tripping. In the NYC community, Brawl was the king for atleast 2 years. Since this game is patchable and promises better online, I doubt it will fall off.
