For Palutena I'd show Princess Lana from Captain N (whose design was based off Palutena) though I could imagine the heated discussions of people who actually thought Lightning was in the game.

Also, thanks Weltall. Downloaded Pac-Man on Steam last night and HOLY CRAP! I can't believe how much fun it is. Only wish there was a Pac-Mania mode of some sort (even though they have the graphics, I'd want jumping and music remixes from the game)

IIRC, Shulk is also making an appearance in X. So he's probably already on the salary roll.

Well I think I've decided once I get the time, I'll be checking it out. I just hope the price doesn't go up by then, I know it's already expensive. But yeah, that sounds pretty impressive. And I've heard nothing but amazing things about the music, so that has me really intrigued.
 
Shulk will be in because he represents an important part of Nintendo, Monolith Soft. And with Xenoblade X it seems the franchise is here to stay.

I just noticed Fox's green costume changed his boots to also be green, was red in 64, Melee and Brawl.

Being my favourite color scheme for Fox since 64... why Samurai? ;(

Isn't Xenoblade X's protagonist a custom character? And besides, Xenoblade is the first game in the series and one of the most acclaimed RPGs of the last generation. I'm sure X will be good as well, but the original will always be seen as more important/influential.

That reminds me of one of the first Rock Band 3 leaks.

One of the trailers for the game showed the game's setlist containing five unannounced songs: "Spinning Wheel," "25 or 6 to 4," "Midlife Crisis," "Need You Tonight," and "20th Century Boy."

All but "Spinning Wheel" were included in the final game.

Shit, that takes me back.
 
If I had info, I would most likely just make a few basic topics on GameFAQs or something, and I would probably leak all of the roster but add in a character that isn't there just to drive people insane. Like Ridley.

Also, that Xenoblade music does sound pretty fuckin great. I'm gonna wait and listen to it in the game though. My Gamestop down the street has it, so I'm gonna go ahead and pick it up. But I probably won't be playing it for a while.
 
When will we hear if Shulk makes it in or not? I'm literally on pins and needles. I hope they design him good if he is in. He better have the Monado and not some generic sword.

Yeah, I'm going Pro also. HUGE GC controller fan, I just think it's time to move on haha. The Pro controller is extremely comfy, cordless, and will allow muscle-memory unity with the 3DS version.

So, uh, the boss I'm currently working on is L75. Does that narrow it down any?

If that's the boss I think it is then the AI teammates stupidly running into Acid annoyed the bejesus out of me :/
Luckily by then I'd broken the combat system with a constant chain attack sequence that not only basically left the team ready to chain attack again right afterwards but also healed the whole team when completed :3

Yeah pretty much maybe?. I just "finished" Agniratha (figured that's as Spoiler free and vague as I can get)

When the game is released, unless they announce him in the August Nintendo Direct. I can't see why he wouldn't have the Monado.
 
Lucas is probably cut. I'd say Falco and Wolf would have been cut, but we know there is a Star Fox game in development.

There's only one option now. James McCloud in Smash.
 
honestly all signs point to Snake being cut.

The only real evidence he's still in is some shaky evidence of Raidens VA mistaking Smash bros. for Playstation all-stars and the Gematsu leaker only seemed to talk about Lucas in terms of possible cuts.

I think I'm going the same route. I don't need a corded controller and happen to be a part of the mindset that thinks that people only think the gamecube controller is the best controller for smash because they're used to it. A month using any other controller and you'll be fine
