I want Frigate Orpheon (with Metroid Prime's menu music) in the 3DS version. Best Metroid stage by far imo.
I want a new Prime stage for WiiU too. SkyTown would be cool.

The surprise is that there's no surpriseSo what was the smash surprise?

So what was the smash surprise?
There is already the Pyrosphere, so I doubt there will be a new Prime stage for the Wii U version. If there was one, I would like a stage based on Sanctuary Fortress.I want a new Prime stage for WiiU too. SkyTown would be cool.
Gankplank Galleon for the Wii U version and The Flying Krock for the 3DS version. Or vice-versa.Guys, so far we haven't gotten a WiiU DK stage, what would you like to see? Personally I would like something from the retro DK games, preferably an ice stage.

Gang Plank Galleon, since King K. Rool will need a stage to call his own.

Can't believe it's a little more than a month for release date.

Don't expect anything of interest until late August.
lol it's not real. A mockup.

Since both Brawl and Melee stages appear on the 3DS version, I'm sure they will on the Wii U version. Now we just gotta find out if 64 stages will make a comeback.
What Brawl stage is in the 3DS version?
Hos many stages did Melee and Brawl had? Retro stages included

It would be the third week of August or later methinks. The middle of August pegs it about a month before release, and the printing period starts about 2-3 weeks before launch if I'm not mistaken.
Here we go, people blaming the 3DS version again for (an unlikely) lack of contentAβydoς;122786734 said:Melee had 29 (3 retro), Brawl 41 (10 retro).
I expect at least 40 stages for both versions of Sm4sh, with 8/10 retro ones.
Based on how many shared stages there are (like Boxing Ring or Wily Castle) they could be more, anyway 50 or so actual new stages at least.
I hope we don't get 20 new stages per version because 3DS exists.
Got it. Basically they still have a little more than two weeks of work and then the 3DS version is finished right? It's crazy to think about it.

It is so fucking obvious there will be more than 20 stages per game.

Aβydoς;122787616 said:I don't blame the 3DS version for anything, it's simply obvious that the WiiU one would've had more content if 3DS didn't exist. Simple logic. It works both way, 3DS version would have much more content if WiiU didn't exist.
Out of the two, the 3DS one is expendable for me, I'll just unlock everything and then toss it away for the real deal.
I too am sure we'll get a lot of new stages, anyway, at least 50.
How I imagine a Dark Aether stage:
The stage causes constant damage to all players, unless they are close to a Light Crystal.
The Light Crystal is like the pellets from the pikmin stage in Brawl, you can pick up and throw them.
If throw off stage, another one will appear after a set amount of time.
Well, at least in my head, it looks pretty fun for 4p FFA![]()
Good to know that even the 3DS version has Brawl stages; that makes it a bit more likely for Melee stages to show up on Wii U. Hoping for even more retro stages this time around. If we're getting even more stages than Brawl, maybe around 15 retro ones? It might be a bit much, but there's a lot of old stages I'd love to see come back. Brinstar Depths would be great, and I'd love to see Fourside return. The only 64 stage I really care about is Saffron City; I don't know if it's likely to come back, but it would be nice.
Since you added some clarification I'll only say this on the matter.
We are already getting plenty of content in both versions (I make this claim based off past iterations, but until then we will not know for sure.) If I could choose between having two games--one portable and one home console version--that were both already filled with content (totally original content for both versions in some cases). Or one game that is already stuffed with content to be even more overstuffed. I would choose having two great games on two great platforms. Not only is that pretty much convenient to everybody, but a lot more people can get their hands on the game... if that makes any sense.
yo guys, how long does it take to set up PM? i have a hacked wii in the basement and i'm itching to play some smash and why not try out PM but i don't like fiddling around too long.
I don't have a hacked Wii but it was as easy as getting a 2GB SD card and putting files on it, and then deleting all of your custom stages.
Only reason you should be mad at the 3DS version is if the IC get cut.
Besides, didn't Sakurai say the 3DS version was the original one, and he was coerced into making a Wii U version?
Aβydoς;122790304 said:LOL coerced. If he really didn't want to make it than I thank Iwata for forcing him.
