Well we know DLC is coming because there's already been one patch.

This was just a conspiracy about the hidden four and how their trophies are not in the 3DS version meaning something is definitely up. I argued even if they didn't have trophies it doesn't even take the Wii U version into account.

Of course know that Dixie has been shown that's all null and void.

Well to be fair, they could easily have another Dixie Kong (Smash) trophy, or even reword her existing trophy Dixie Kong (DKC) via a patch. But yeah, you are probably right.

I doubt trophies will affect DLC. We were hoping that Dixie and a few others were already part of the game, but locked until the Wii U versions release date.

The patch enables online and adds a new mode called "Conquest Mode" although this mode was briefly shown for a second or two in the E3 2014 trailer.

It might patch a few smaller things but it's not in the notes.
