Yeah... There will be a tinge of sadness when I'll play using/against Fox or Falco. I guess we can put on our Wolf-shaped tin foil hats and hope he gets in as DLC =] some of these newcomers look fantastic, but we need Wolf back ASAP

I'm enjoying this narrative where the cut characters had to "stay" and fight the purple dragon menace, with their lives getting sacrificed in the battle.

Speaking of which someone said that Wolf was a stupid inclusion. That person is stupid, as they say.

When the Wii U launched, Nintendo did an update on launch day to include features that they didn't want leaked before the launch.

It would be so funny if Sakurai knew about the ESRB leak, and decided to include the "other secret characters" via an update on launch day.

I'd crack up so hard.

So that was our final roster after all. Oh well, so a pretty great roster. Even if i did want Mewtwo and Ridley.

Any good full pictures of the Fierce Deity Link color?

I'm happy with the roster. Hell, I was happy with the roster in mid July before the ERSB leak came out. I don't care for Duck Hunt Dog or Black Pit, but I'm sure others will main them.

Uh huh, when his shadow was only about double tye size of Pikachu, one of the smallest charscters, sure.

I am hapoy with the roster. Its better than I expected it. Villager, Mega Man, Rosalina, Greninja, Palutena, Pac-Man, Robin, Lucina, Koopalings, Duck Hunt. Roster of all time.

One of the streamers used Morton in training and even kept the camera up close. He's great, and actually appears a bit bigger than Jr., if I'm not mistaken. Makes me wonder if the hit-boxes match up the same. They should, since the Koopalings are alts and not clones.

Also Duck Hunt is so awesome!! I love dogs, so this really speaks to my heart! My condolences to IC/Wolf/Lucas mains though, your characters will dearly be missed.



Also also why do you guys want day 1 dlc so badly i thought that was a bad thing for devs to hold back content that's already completed I mean seriously

For the next smash game, I think they should prioritize on recreating all the characters from scratch rather than the newcomers. Having characters with the same moves as their brawl counterpart, some with same brawl voice overs, same final smashes. It's like, it really seems they half and halfed game.

+Characters generally feel good to play as.
+Combos are more of a thing due to no hitstun cancelling (apart from a megaman glitch)
+Meteor Smash ground bounces are amazing for combos with characters who have them (unless the other player is competent and techs it).
+Game runs and looks fantastic.


I like it, but it comes so close to being perfect and misses a load of minor and major things that aren't big changes and feel like no brainers that it makes me anxious about the future of the game and whether I want to drop Project M for it.

As long as nothing is gamebreakingly bad, I am glad. I am sure the game has it's kinks and problems but nothing that should prevent enjoyment.

I'm not playing devil's advocate. It's my opinion. Smash OTs - and really, all OTs - are notorious for shouting down any negativity (or divergent opinions) while "positive" nonsense like "Sakurai the god! All over my face!" can be posted without a second glance. There's weird fan art every other page. But people expressing gripes with the combat system or the roster get shown the door for "killing hype."

Which I understand, nobody really likes to hear negativity and there are trolls. But you have to understand that there's another side to these things - another perspective. And calling the roster a disgrace (cutting Ice Climbers is pretty shameful, in my opinion) while pointing out the specific points of contention isn't any more immature than the positive, goofy exultation many in this thread are currently arrested with.

This Dark Pit hate is hilarious. There's just something funny about people projecting their disappointment on a fictional character.
