To spark some conversation, here is a new Wii U stage roster prediction wishlist courtesy of yours truly! The stages are as follows:
Row 1:
Battlefield - Final Destination - Mushroom Kingdom U - Mario Galaxy - Luigi's Mansion
Bowser Land: Based on the carnival levels from 3D World, Hisstocrat serves as a stage hazard whilst his minions rise out of the ground with new platforms.
Row 2:
Yoshi's Island - Gamer - Skyloft - Bridge of Eldin
Yoshi's Paradise: Inspired by New Island, has mischievous monkeys and Nep-Enuts as hazards.
Forsaken Fortress: Similar to Shadow Moses with the search lights, the Helmaroc King is a stage boss.
Row 3:
Orbital Gate - Lylat Cruise - Coliseum - Castle Siege
Sunset Shore: Uses a shadow filter in the foreground, with explosions and effects able to light up the area.
Frozen DK Island: Inspired by both Returns and Tropical Freeze. Starts as a tropical climate with the giant Tiki Fortress sticking out of the volcano. The Snowmad ship with eventually fly by and fall on the Tiki Fortress while freezing the island.
Row 4:
Town & City - Smashville - Kalos Pokemon League - Pokemon Stadium 2 - Garden of Hope
Nimbasa City: A Pokemon Stadium successor taking place in said city. The stage transforms into Fairy, Ghost, Fighting, and Bug types.
Row 5:
Boxing Ring - Great Cave Offensive - Halberd - Magicant - Onett
Big-Bean Vine: Based on Kirby's Epic Yarn, Prince Fluff will appear and change the stage with his star yarn whip thingie.
Row 6:
Palutena's Temple - Skyworld - Pyrosphere - Norfair
Labyrinth of Deceit: Takes place in Pandora's Labyrinth, were the goddess acts as a stage boss that can create dark clones of fighters with the Mirror of Truth.
Planet Phaaze: Inspired by the climactic areas of the Metroid Prime trilogy, where Phaazon tentacles and creatures can attack players.
Row 7:
Big Blue - Find Mii - Pilotwings
Lightning: The shocking location from F-Zero GX, which acts as the successor to Mute City/Port Town.
Open Season: Inspired by Duck Hunt. The lower area is covered by tall grass, allowing fighters to hide from the aiming reticule that occasionally appears.
Gyromite: A retro stage for R.O.B., which includes the hazards seen in the original game.
Row 8:
Gaur Plain - Wii Fit Studio - Wily Castle - Windy Hill - Pac-Land
Green House: A Game & Watch stage that includes bugs and cameos from other dual screen G&W games.
