I have a feeling they'll gradually reveal all the veterans until the next E3, where they'll start revealing more of the new characters and features.

I feel a Pokemon character near X & Y's release is still a possibility, but I have no way of knowing what one. I'd like to say Pokemon Trainer is the most likely, but Sakurai has been fairly difficult to pin down this time around. I don't think I ever would have guessed that Toon Link of all characters would be revealed this early on. Might be Jigglypuff as far as I know.

- Next reveal to be a Pokemon, or Pokemon Trainer due to X&Y

- Another Zelda Character in December due to Link Between Worlds, possibly Zelda or Ganon

Based on this, other possible new characters could include:

- Phoenix Wright, based on the new game coming out.

Good predictions but donkey kong delayed Til February so we won't be seeing him in November. Also, Mario 3D world is huge release in December so the big Toad reveal will be then.

WW Toon Link's co-existence with Spirit Tracks Link makes me think that Sakurai actually pays attention on the characters' specific incarnations, which is to say that it's hard to see Zelda not being TP Zelda after TP Link. I wish we could have gotten SS Zelda. :-(

Then again, Link being the Wii U concept trailer Link (albeit in turn based on TP)... That could mean that they might use a sorta custom Zelda too.

I don't understand how a company can employ someone like Hideki Naganuma, use him for all of four games, and let this happen to their star franchise.

I know they finally got around to using him for Rush, and it was great, but then Rush Adventure had a different composer.
