This is a huge result for Sanders. It will keep his campaign hopes alive.

I don't even remember seeing anything like this in modern politics. Hillary Clinton was up in the polls by around 18%.

It is unprecedented.

My dad thinks Trump can run third party after getting kicked out and win the presidency.

I kindof can imagine how it could possibly happen.

So what the hell is going on? Lol. How could they have misread things so badly? Is Bernie expected to win Mi now, or still lose albeit closely.

Well apparently Detroit is at 0%... Which is going Hillary.

But yeah, this is a situation where a close defeat would be a huge boost for his campaign.

538 had Hillary winning with 99% confidence and with a spread ranging from 25 to 18%. .

This is already a huge upset. Ohio, Illinois, Missouri now looking not so bad for Bernie

Ya, I want Hillary to win as much as the next guy, but one can't deny the impact of this. I don't know how Sanders pulled off such a massive turnaround.

According to Nate Silver if Sanders won Michigan it would be the biggest primary polling era in history.

Yeah. This definitely beats some of the polling errors I have witnessed in the past. It would still be a pretty big polling error if he did not win.

Would be a huge pick up for Bernie momentum wise now that the Southern firewall is coming down

Southern firewall held. Bernie needs to beat Hillary and badly in every state not in the south to win. He is not doing that, even if he narrowly wins Michigan.

I still can't believe Kasich has passed Rubio. Was this expected? Didn't pay attention to GOP polling.
Isn't the GOP investing all their points into Marco? What a shit-show.

I don't think it'll stop either. This is really great to watch and root for.

Yup. We need this competition to keep Hillary on her toes for November. Bernie is serving that purpose, but soon he will need to drop out for the good of American citizens.

I really feel bad for Sanders supporters that really don't understand that it really doesn't matter at this stage if Sanders starts winning more races. If things remain flat through Super Tuesday, he could win every race that follows by double digits and still not beat her pledged delegate count. These low expectations for his performance only serves to extend their suffering.

Or the steam train keeps going and Bernie really pulls ahead soon. It's ALL up hill for Bernie.

Bernie winning would be for the good of Americans, not him dropping out...

It's such a good move that Jeb hasn't endorsed Rubio yet. There is a HUGE stink on Rubio now, and Jeb can't afford to have any of that stink to be piled on himself at this point...even if Rubio is pretty much Jeb Jr. Very smart move on his part.

It's been happening since the weekend. Rubio basically made the mistake of arguing with an idiot and being brought down to Trump's level with the hands thing. So, Kasich comes out as the establishment guy.

Uh, I mean, no? Are you suggesting that Decision Desk is risking their reputation to make an inaccurate call when the current vote total leans the other direction...for the lols? Like, you understand that making accurate calls is literally the only reason anybody pays attention to them right?

I wouldn't describe a relatively minor outlet seeking to be first to release a projection (which is speculation obviously) and thus get extra mentions and credibility if they are correct as "for the lols". I do think they believe she will win and the call will be accurate.

"Attention grab" was probably the wrong phrase on my part, sounds more malicious than I intended. It just hit me as a little overzealous to call it so early. But I also admit I don't have a list of the past 100 primaries and when they called what and such, if their reputation is beyond reproach perhaps they are just that confident and I'm way off base.

Looks like the race just tightened up.

It wouldn't really matter. Jeb is done in politics.
