He is staying in until the 15th at minimum.

I usually go for the unpredictable surprises. I think he drops tomarrow. He would know he got swept in all the states besides his home and the outlook is grim on the 15th. Staying in untill the 15th is a waste of time and money.

If thats the case yes but it seems there is a possibility he could win Oklahoma and maybe one more state. Also its proportional so he will stay close in delegate numbers, supers nonwithstanding. I bet he drops the 15th.

FiveThirtyEight.com Democrat Roundup

Alabama - Clinton 99% chance to win, +28-50 points
Arkansas - Clinton 99% chance to win, +25-32 points
Georgia - Clinton 99% chance to win, +28-47 points
Massachusetts - Clinton 94% chance to win, +4-11 points (note: Sanders was tied or ahead as recently as the last 1-2 weeks)
Oklahoma - Sanders 84% chance to win, +5 points (note: Clinton has won all polls but the most recent)
Tennessee - Clinton 99% chance to win, +26 points
Texas - Clinton 99% chance to win, +20-42 points
Vermont - Sanders 99% chance to win, +76 points
Virginia - Clinton 99% chance to win, +17-27 points

BONUS: Michigan - Clinton 98% chance to win, +20 points

After they added the SoonerPoll that had Clinton ahead, Oklahoma now dropped from an 84 chance for Bernie win it, to now a nearly 50 50 chance for Bernie.

Going to pop some popcorn and browse r/politics around 9pm tomorrow for some grade A hilarity.

r/politics front page tomorrow night is going to be about 10 different threads on "Bernie CRUSHES Hillary in Vermont!!!", 10 different threads for the other random state he might eke a win in, 10 threads on "Bernie never dropping out! Ever!" and about 25 threads linking to psychics predicting which date in the next week Hillary is getting arrested on, for sure for real this time.

(I'll be there too).

He has the money to keep going

But after tomorrow I think Hillary will have a decent lead and will be able to grind it out

Grind it out? After tomorrow I'll be surprised if she even acknowledges Sanders going forward. In her SC speech she said "This campaign is going national!" and I don't think that meant just for Super Tuesday. She's turning toward the GE after tomorrow.

Jeb! quit because he realized there was not even a remote chance to beat Trump. Rubio should not clinge to the hope of a brokered convention or any other sort of Hail Mary surge in the polls. If that possibility was real, Jeb would still be in the race.

So does every campaign ever until they drop out.

He's going to all fifty states. He explicitly stated why; it's about fairness in democracy, not winning the nomination. So yeah, I absolutely believe that Bernie's going to go the distance, and he certainly won't have trouble getting there financially.

I really want to know if the establishment will give up on stopping Trump. Some have come to terms with it and are probably trying to curry favor with him early.

Why is Carson even still in this? I honestly forgot he was still running. His campaign must be some elaborate money laundering scheme or something. Lol

If Bernie Sanders has a "good day" tomorrow, he wins Massachusetts, Vermont, and Oklahoma. A "bad day" for Clinton means that she wins Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, and Virgina. It is tough to imagine a scenario in which Sanders can really come out with any kind of momentum. If Clinton takes Massachusetts or Oklahoma, then things look really bad for him.

Jeb's campaign ran out of money and the donors abandoned him (Super PAC money wouldn't help him there). It didn't seem like he was running a thrifty campaign either so he had to give it up.

Well, haven't we seen that a lot of his key staff are funneling advertising/marketing contracts to companies they own or have stake in? Those guys would be telling Carson to keep going until the cash is gone. Carson himself seems content to sleepwalk and mention his book every once in a while.

Who is Molecule Man in this scenario? That's what I really need to know.

Not a chance, he's got more money than Shillary

He got money but hes losing big time. Its not how much you have its how you spend what you do have and Hillary is spending it where it counts. Quality over Quanity. Sanders could have 100x the amount that Hillary does and he would still be losing.

And is he going to continue to ask for donations to fund it?

Jeb! said the exact same shit. As did Hillary in 08, and that was a far, far, FAR closer race.

I'm not American, expecting a Trump vs Hilary election. I'd be pretty surpirsed if Sanders wins.

But please GAF, don't let Trump become the next president of the USA. I mean, come on.

Please.

And is he going to continue to ask for donations to fund it?

Sure. Not only is he perfectly within his right to do so, it will allow him to campaign in all 50 states.

Bernie is presumably viable in all 50 states; it's only fair that he gives each state the chance to choose their candidate in a proper contest. The US is a representative democracy. If there is more than one viable candidate, each state has the right to proportional representation.

Jeb! said the exact same shit. As did Hillary in 08, and that was a far, far, FAR closer race.

This isn't about the closeness of the race. It's about the fundamental tenets of a representative democracy.

If you have two viable candidates, let them compete for votes, regardless of the significance of the state. No state should have to just accept an uncontested primary simply because their delegate count won't matter. If a state proportionally assigns delegates, the states votes should be represented proportionally.

As a bernie supporter that's stupid. A waste of donations and support that could be going to the person who's actually going to be on the GE DNC ticket. At the very least even if those supporters are the libertarian "we'll just vote for Trump then" supporters, give it to charity. Assuming of course he doesn't pull off some Super Tuesday Miracle

People are free to use their money however they please. Nobody's forcing them to donate to Bernie.

When all states have had their votes represented, we can talk about what needs to be done in the GE. It's gonna be a long GE anyway.

National polls may sway undecideds, but Trumps supporters are true believers and would likely call a CNN poll leftist propaganda (unless they liked the result).

Haha, great theme, B-Dubs. I guess the GE will be Secret Wars, with 100 times more crazy shit.

Yeah, but you know what will happen after the GE.

Is there a post that links to all the 'cast lists' that have been released over the various electoral shenanigans?

Have we done The Muppets yet? 'cause Mr. Drumpf is a ringer for Miss Piggy.

Hillary actually did it though

Granted she was also still winning primaries in May

how are you defining viable?

I think OK and MS are the worse states to be a democrat voter

I would agree with that ;)

why is that?

I live in OK and could vote straight party D until the day I die and not see a single benefit from it, and in fact seems I more often than not face malice from it, not only from Okies but from people here too.

I mean it is what it is, but the fact remains that the GOP has a stranglehold on this state to the point I don't even know how to protest it anymore.

how are you defining viable?

Consistently holding more than 15-20% of the vote, as the states themselves define it.

If he was sitting at 5%, he wouldn't get delegates anyway, so that actually would be a waste of time. But if he's viable enough to get delegates, he should compete for them, regardless of the state. That's an actual representative democracy.
