The biggest thing is that all the news stations(Except maybe fox) is that they're declaring trump as the one who will be the nominee-so if the GOP chooses like, Rubio, then they will prove what Trump said about the establishment and the party will be fractured.

That is the biggest hurdle they have right now. They can either fracture the party, or they can go with Trump and lose anyways(or win?).
Where do I find Rubio smile 2.0?

Look for the interview on CBS, unfortunately I can't go back on CBS player.

She has a 216 pledged delegate lead right now.

Her results in southern states have exceeded polling, as far as I recall.

She looks set to win MA, a large state that he needed to win to make a case.

Also: any gains Sanders makes in Kansas or Nebraska will be wiped out by Louisiana, Maine is a clusterfuck, and Clinton looks to gain on the 8th.

This is effectively done in 14 days.

Well, Bernie's pretty much done, but at least he took a couple states.

Liked Hillary's speech. I keep remembering her Benghazi hearing and I'm kinda excited at how she'll combat the Republicans.

Donald Trump scares me. He has that charisma that'll resonate with a whole lot of white people. The "I'd love to have a beer with him!" factor. Thank god the Republicans are too stupid to see this opportunity.

Cruz is saying Trump is the more sane person because Trump will talk to people and he won't. This fucker is crazy.

He's the type of politician people always ask for. He's the guy who will do EXACTLY what he says he will. What's not to like?

Yes, it physically hurt to type that last sentence.

Cruz again with the hollow list of petty policy proposals.

"Investigate Planned Parenthood! Abolish the IRS! Rip the Iran nuclear deal to shreds!"

Not a word about the economy or jobs. In an election year where the economy is at the top of both parties' concerns.

Keep digging that grave.

I'm aware of that, but these wins (and probable wins) tonight keep him in the game. The narrative switches from "it's time for Bernie to go" to "let's see how it plays out in the next few weeks".
I don't foresee any narrative change coming out of this. What was already a narrow path, is almost entirely closed.

The margin he needs in later states to overcome this sort of delegate lead are possible but improbable, and he isn't leading in polling of those states anyway.

I expect he will continue to field questions daily on whether he should drop out or not.

He truly believes in the "it's at its core, about class" approach to inequality rooted in his leftist/socialist background from 50-60 yrs ago. He was given every opportunity to evolve and refused to. It's fundamentally at odds with modern thinking (and personal experience) on the approaches necessary to acknowledge and rectify issues surrounding issues affecting various minority groups.
Ah, gotcha.

Joke post?

Before Obama, people jokingly called Clinton the first black prez.

Dude has massive creds, and by connection so does his wife.
No, just Australian.

I think Trump is really harmless in the grand scheme of things despite what he says. Now Cruz, he is fucking nuts, and way more dangerous.

I believe this as well.

Trump is a businessman (not a very good one, in fact pretty awful) - he would walk up there and say "Fuck you America" if it would get him more votes.

He in reality is actually a liberal-moderate. He is pro-universal healthcare and a lot of other liberal ideas.

No. Trump is racist.

For the most part I've refrained from responding to the vast majority of users on the forum who share this idea of Trump being a "racist" but when people begin to go as far as to say that he is a full-on "white-supremacist" there's a problem.

Just today during his rally in Columbus, Ohio he addressed that there is a very apparent problem regarding the statistics of African Americans who aren't employed, and even went as far as to say that they aren't given the same opportunities as the dominant majority most of the time. He's promised to make fixing that a priority.

I have a hunch that a lot of people on the forum are exposed to this kind of reporting.

Maybe let black voters decide where their best interests lie rather than deciding that you know best?
This is totally fine to say.

But how come it continues to be OK to say that poor people are voting against their own interests by voting Republican? I am sincerely asking this.

I think MA can be called at 64% reporting and Hillary with a solid 4 point lead.
IMO, Sanders is done.

He should stay till at least 3/15, but he is not convincing democratic voters to vote for him.

Not sure if Awesome, but it is truly amazing.
I forgot but wasn't ma the state bernie said he felt pretty good in?

Cruz a populist against defending Americans against the rich and powerful?

With what? A flat tax?

On what planet does this guy's rhetoric approach reason?

Rubio is still stating the 'Trump is the frontrunner now but its clear hes going to start losing support' mindset that got them in the trouble they are in now. This is a sever case of self-delusion.
