Why is Maine going strong for Cruz?
Is there something about Maine I am unaware of?
If you drive north enough in new England, you end up in the south.

Kansas is just one of those weirdo states, like Iowa.Cruz winning pretty much is the darkest timeline![]()

These are all caucuses, right? That's basically Cruz's wheelhouse as far as shenanigans go.
Let the Trump-spiracies begin.

For all the talk about who would be easier for Hillary to beat, I just worry about counting my chickens before they hatch. There's a long time before November, and with the massive amount of general dislike and distrust toward Hillary, the shit going down with her emails (which is nothing, but try convincing undecideds about that when they're being bombarded by Republican ads), and a generally ho hum electorate filled with disenfranchised Sanders supporters who have taken their ball and gone home.
It may not be hugely likely, but it's entirely possible that any given Republican could beat her.
Side note: They just played a Kasich ad here in Michigan where he pledges to freeze federal regulations. I can't help but wonder if that's wise in a state where the lack of competent oversight made poisoned water in Flint a national story.

I don't think we'll know until March 8th whether Trump is truly on the decline or the caucuses are entirely at fault.
Could be, but LA does border Texas so there could be some spillover. You saw some of that in Oklahoma: Trump won counties father eastHe may blow away everybody in LA and this will all look silly.

maybe a little of both? but yeah, definitely too early to say he's declining. we've already see him perform poorly in caucuses in the past.I don't think we'll know until March 8th whether Trump is truly on the decline or the caucuses are entirely at fault.
Maine almost always has an independent candidate as well and, in recent years, it basically guarantees that the old psychopaths get their way because the sensible vote is split.
The republicans are pretty disorganized/divided right now. It's usually very hard for a divided party to win a general election.
Only for Republicans, not Democrats. He has no chance against Hillary (yes, I've read the polls but I've also read that before the GE they are useless).
Rubio engaging in Trump's dick waving contest is probably what killed him.
The booger eater ended up looking like the only adult.
Am I wrong for thinking the entire caucus system is dumb? Like I don't get why anybody would prefer it over a primary system. Can someone explain to me what I'm missing here?

Bernie in his speech.. finally going after Hillary - like really going after her over her wall street connections. After he has basically lost the nomination to her. Too late Bernie.

He's been going after her over the speeches for a few weeks now. I think he's targeting her in Michigan.
I rather him go out fighting rather then giving her the win.

Yet most polls have him beating Hillary in head to head matchups, which is scary.
I'm curious what the mindset is of someone running as an independent in elections like that. You're more than likely making the party with similar views have split vote and thus let the less similar party win. I mean, the person running as an independent has to be aware of that, right? Or all they cares about is winning and not actually about what happens to the state.
On the other hand, sanders crushes cruz in every poll.

Which either proves early head to head polls don't matter, or Sanders is far more electable than Hillary. I'm honestly not really sure which one I believe.
The problem with the speech line is that the only people who even remotely care about that are already supporting him. It's not a winning line of attack.
Plus, if the newest ARG poll is anything to go by, her lead has increased. NBC teased a new poll that had her up over 20 that they're going to release tomorrow.

Don't worry, everyone's assumption that Hillary is more "electable" is definitely FACTUAL.Right...
Right...
