I will give you Persian Kebabs, but everything else feels bland compared to Pakistani and Indian dishes. Biryani 4 Life!

Also, now I am sweating because central ohio has around 50k muslim voters. I wonder if they will vote Bernie as well.

I think a majority will. It doesn't matter that he's Jewish, it's never been about that. It's about desperately trying to steer away from hawkish military interventionist ideals that are generationally damaging, and also giving less fuel to the military industrial complex. I'd imagine many American Muslims are absolutely appalled with US track record on foreign policy in the Middle East, spanning multiple decades, and see a major diminishing of it as a high priority.

as much as i like 99% of sanders' platform, i am happy hillary will end up with the nomination. bernie would get eviscerated in a debate with trump, full stop, at least to the general publics perception. he has steered the conversation left and set a path for future progressives moving forward (so long as a dem stays in the potus)

impressive numbers tonight though, makes me hope for the future

Yeah I think Sanders it. He has ridiculous margins in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo which still have a lot outstanding.

Democrats. Ugh. I choose to selfishly comfort myself with some (still completely real) rhetoric about delegates. ...Aah. That's better.

well maybe they should do some research into the topic before discussing it. Anyone knowledgeable of the race knows it ended on Super Tuesday. I feel 100% confident in that, save this post if you feel otherwise. Bernie can't win every rave April and Beyond by double digits and if he can't do that there's no way he can catch up I either the popular vote or the delegate math.

It was Still a needlessly condescending comment that doesn't really add anything to the discussion. That'll sure convince people to get out and vote for Hillary tho!!!

I really think you're thinking too low of the general public. I think he'd be fine.

He's a much better debater (imo) now than he was initially.

The thing about that graph is that Bernie is already behind the eight ball on most of the states that have already voted. He needs to compensate by doing even better than projected in the remainder of the states. Significantly better!

That's true, but those numbers don't have to be matched state by state. Look at California, for instance. If all the other states prior to it met the benchmark (and exactly so), Sanders would only need a 1% win in California, the state with the most delegates. If he wins 20%? That more than makes up for some other losses.

But I'd say he's also doing very well in other areas. In Vermont, he got more than 83%. He got so much of the votes even that Clinton was not viable and walked away with 0 delegates at all. Kansas with the huge win of 70%...etc... Granted, yes, he's lost some by numbers that do him no favors, but there's wiggle room in the states to come, especially big players like Washington, Oregon, California (basically the West and Northwest).

Ian't Detroit part of Wayne county?

But according to CNN, there's a huge disparity between the overall state vote, at 71%, and the Wayne county vote, at 52%, which suggests that Clinton may close at least some of the gap.

Other counties are not as populous as Detroit though.

It's 20% difference in that county which is 18% of population. It' pretty big, but it's not enough to compensate for current 3% margin.

When he told Clinton "Stop, I'm talking!" at the Flint debate, it was a very powerful moment that I think a lot of voters responded well to. Very Trump-like

I disagree with this 100%.

does anyone know why CNN's percent reporting is 10% higher than guardian and NYT?
same raw vote numbers on both

Michigan isn't winner take all, right?
At best, he doesn't lose any ground I guess.

Momentum is a crazy thing. I am not saying he has a shot, but he has a shot.

No TV? Can't beat John King and his touch screen.
I cut cable a while ago, and use my brother's time warner account to watch live streams online but CNN doesnt support time warner customers for some reason and fox news isnt covering this.
