I will give you Persian Kebabs, but everything else feels bland compared to Pakistani and Indian dishes. Biryani 4 Life!

Also, now I am sweating because central ohio has around 50k muslim voters. I wonder if they will vote Bernie as well.

As I am persian, I have to say our kebabs are the best. Indian food is amazing and heavily influenced by the middle east as well (sometimes I prefer it but don't tell my family).

"It looks like Sanders will win Dearborn, city with highest concentration of Arab Muslims. He leads 64-36, with 67% counted"

Yup. Bernie can be very aggressive when riled and angered. Trump's rhetoric and stances would likely insult Sanders to the point where he wouldn't let his ignorance and hate fly.

Just random clips I searched up.

A lot of people think he's just some crazy guy who wants to give everyone free shit. At least that's what the opposition says. Well now it's a communist lol. He calls himself a socialist and they go one step further. He's a smart man though and can definitely hold his own in a debate against trump. He'll at least have some substance behind his answers.

as much as i like 99% of sanders' platform, i am happy hillary will end up with the nomination. bernie would get eviscerated in a debate with trump, full stop, at least to the general publics perception. he has steered the conversation left and set a path for future progressives moving forward (so long as a dem stays in the potus)

impressive numbers tonight though, makes me hope for the future

I don't know why you feel that way. I think he'd go toe to toe with Trump and defend himself quite easily. Trump has far more chinks in his armor, and Democrats and a good portion of independents aren't going to respond as well to Trumps dickishness as many Republicans have. I think in debates between Bernie and Trump, Bernie comes out looking even more honest and principled.

Yep

Bernie may have spent a long time in Vermont, but his BK accent tells you all you need to know. He's still got an NY'rs bite. That along with the stark differences between the two are some of the many reasons why I'd love to see them clash in the GE. The debates would be US politics study material for our grandchildren lmao.

everyone touting that Detroit at 0% link...also has Dearborn and Dearborn Heights at 0% which both should help Bernie

For some reason Cruz's booger incident interest really grosses me out. Makes me gag when eating.
I am not generally squeamish. Used to watch Fear factor during dinner.

Why do you consider them unwatchable? I am asking just out of curiosity as I am watching them right now and they seem pretty good.

I just prefer my news to be more logic based than emotion based. That's not to say everything they do is based on emotions, but enough to annoy me into avoiding nine times out of ten.

I have a hard time believing that none of Detroit has reported yet. Perhaps they're still behind.

A Bernie win would be interesting. I like interesting.

I'm pro Hillary, but a competitive race (well, slightly more competitive) beats a coronation.

I still think the huge tax increases he's proposing would sink him in the general. Candidates have lost elections over much smaller tax increases, and Bernie's are far higher than anything proposed in the last 40 years.

That's true, but those numbers don't have to be matched state by state. Look at California, for instance. If all the other states prior to it met the benchmark (and exactly so), Sanders would only need a 1% win in California, the state with the most delegates. If he wins 20%? That more than makes up for some other losses.

But I'd say he's also doing very well in other areas. In Vermont, he got more than 83%. He got so much of the votes even that Clinton was not viable and walked away with 0 delegates at all. Kansas with the huge win of 70%...etc... Granted, yes, he's lost some by numbers that do him no favors, but there's wiggle room in the states to come, especially big players like Washington, Oregon, California (basically the West and Northwest).

If he won California by 20 points today, that's a net gain of 46 delegates on his benchmarks, but he'd still be 35 delegates behind pace.

Props to Bernie but the real story tonight is Rubio and how fucking bad he under-performed tonight. It's embarrassing.

And the media is playing up Michigan to a ridiculous degree considering the actual math being negligible. Gotta get that horse race going

I mean, people are misinterpreting what that site's saying.

None of Detroit had reported yet as of 43 minutes ago. This may no longer be the case, but we won't know for sure until their next update, which could be in anywhere from 16 to 46 minutes because Wayne County is a big, fat mess.
