I like the NFL player's wife. I also like Alicia.

What the fuck at the guys. Why not just informally vote for your future Tribal instead of actually going? Ridiculous. Sucks that Bill went home. He seems like such a cool dude.

Forget Colton, this thread needs more Chelsea.

I think Kim is really attractive too, if a bit too skinny:

Bill was also a class act through that whole thing. I can't imagine I would have been able to stay that calm.

During his post-game interviews he was really great as well. Didn't even sound like he harbored any bad feelings.

I'd choose Alicia, the asian chick or the older sophisticated brunette as the hottest woman left on the woman's tribe. Kourtney was the hottest if you can ignore the tats.

I really hope they bring Bill back for another season. I have a lot of respect for him after the way he went out. Knowing this show though, they'll probably bring him and Colton back at the same time, and I don't think I'll be watching any future seasons with him.

Palau was probably the first season to bore me to tears and featured the first former contestant to pass away.
.

Wooooah. That's one of my favorite seasons! There are some people I can't stand like Chet but Ian and Tom make up for it. Besides that finale. Bleh.

And I do agree about Amanda. Even her first promo pic for the show doesn't look as good as she does on the show. And I think there are way too many seasons to declare one woman the best looking with how many have been on the show.

Can't believe what the men did. So stupid. A smart person would have used that opportunity to get rid of Colton.

Not many likeable people on that tribe. Jonas could be, but it all depends on what he does in the future. He seems smart in the interviews, so I can't tell if he's just lying low before making a big move, or if he's just another wuss afraid to do anything.

Blows my mind that they went through all of that, saying the purpose was to get rid of Leif, yet they all vote out Bill. The whole point of going to tribal was to vote Leif, and they vote Bill. WTF. The only rational reason I can think of was to get rid of Bill, but make it seem like they were taking out Leif to not have Bill try anything shady. But I really don't think they are that smart and two, KKKolton was pretty obvious about wanting Bill gone anyway.

It also blows my mind that they didn't try to blindside KKKolton. It would have been the perfect opportunity. He wouldn't have (and didn't) use his idol. I guess they were all afraid someone would slip up and mention it to him, but either way, he would use his idol and be gone the next time around.

At least next week looks like it might switch things up a bit.

The decision to give up immunity had to be unanimous. The "Leif" thing was all a show to get bill to agree to it.

Is that a hard and fast rule of the show, or just some social convention?

Speculation (which is probably true) is that there were no rules about this sort of thing, so the producers whipped something up at the last minute. It's rather bizarre, because functionally it's no different than throwing a challenge, which has been done a number of times throughout the show. And throwing a challenge has obviously neither required nor involved unanimous consent.

The difference this time was that the drama occurred in between the challenge and tribal council. No doubt rules about this sort of thing will be explicitly laid out in future seasons. The entertainment value of that tribal council was just too great to ban it outright.

Not sure if I follow.

They're internally in a disarray, yes, but they've been dominating every single challenge from the start.
Uh.... the record is 4-3 for challenges. And the first one was a win on a technicality (granted they looked like they were safely in the lead).

That said, apparently the two previous MvW seasons had merges on the 5th episode.

Really? Shit, it felt like the men have been dominating.

Oh no, I didn't mean they were pathetic in competitions. They are a pathetic tribe, spineless, and not at all entertaining to watch, IMO.

See, I would agree with the first two parts, but I like seeing them completely fall apart at the seems and have a complete meltdown (socially) every week.

Merge because the producers realize how pathetic the male team looks at this point.

I'm thinking they rearrange the teams and still keep them split so they aren't all male/all female. It makes the most sense to me. Guys have been dominated the immunity challenges, but that idiotic move last week is probably going to cost them in the long run. Bill was a cool dude too. Sucks to see him go so early.

Also name of the episode is
"Thanks for the souvenir" which might be in reference to the hii not being used by someone being voted out. Could Colton be going home? Or do the guys find it, give it to a girl, and she gets voted out?

Just to clarify the above, both Survivor Amazon and Survivor Vanuatu had tribal shuffles in Episode 5. Not a full-fledged merge.

I suspect the same thing will happen tonight. Jeff will roll out the "drop your buffs" line and they'll draw new teams.

In fact,
if you scope out the Survivor: One World wikipedia page, you'll see a Switched Tribe header has already been assigned and certain players have already been shuffled over to new tribes due to new footage released of people wearing different buffs.

Confirmed on New Manono:
- Alicia Rosa
- Colton Cumbie
- Monica Culpepper

Speculated as New Manono:
- Christina Cha
- Greg "Tarzan" Smith
- Jonas Otsuji
- Leif Manson

Confirmed on New Salani:
- Kat Edorsson
- Kim Spradlin
- Sabrina Thompson
- Troy "Troyzan" Robertson

Speculated as New Salani:
- Chelsea Meissner
- Jay Byars
- Michael Jefferson

Holy hell... New Manono is about to get challenge massacred. Men outnumber the women on New Manono. Women outnumber the men on New Salani.
Would seem to indicate that Monica and the loser of the Alicia/Christina rivalry are in serious jeopardy. Colton remains in the catbird seat.

I've got to think there's a third hidden immunity idol hiding away at the new Manono camp. Wonder if we'll see 3 idols in play for the first time.

The stupidity continues as they vote out their strongest woman player when they still have challenges to win. It makes no sense. These people are following Colton just like the guys were.

Man, Colton is such a complete jerk.

*Preview Spoiler*
I know it's awful, but I'm glad it seems like the injury is on the Manano tribe and it's not Christina.

Just a heads up that next week's "tribal boot" has been leaked on the 'Net so be careful of which forum you lurk in Survivor-wise if you wish to be surprised.
