It's not like ps4 to ps4 pro or ps4 to ps5, it will be None unless Nintendo or game developer patch it, especially when it been said that switch games don't run native on switch 2 they run through some kind of code switch 2 running, so we could see more hikups in games
the games will get a boost and they do run natively. it would be near impossible to properly emulate a Switch 1 game on that CPU.
the way the Nintendo engineers worded it in that interview points to the fact that they are recompiling the shaders of Switch 1 games, either on start-up or while playing (probably on start-up).
this is necessary because Nvidia probably doesn't have a Maxwell compatibility mode on their Ampere GPUs. the PS5 and Series X don't have to do that step because AMD did implement a GCN compatibility mode into their RDNA2 GPUs.
and the CPU code will have no issue just running as is, since both systems are ARM based. the only limitation here will be that these games will likely only use 3 threads since that's what they were designed to use on Switch 1.
however the better IPC and faster clock speeds will be helpful here
