I would too after Taco Bell.

YES! Over 135 whole posts in a Taco Bell thread before we get the CLASSIC "Taco Bell gives everybody uncontrollable gas/diarrhea" post. We're getting better! Maybe we'll get to 150 next time, work our way up from there.

Editor's Note: The plane picture is vague enough to not count, plus it's just funny in general

Ethnicity is not a race!
chipotle is so gross because it tries to be authentic but fails horribly

taco bell is good in a weird sort of way

THE most ridiculous post I've read today.

"so gross because it tries to be authentic..."

WHAT?

PLEASE show me what an AUTHENTIC burrito is like. A tortilla with all sorts of food thrown in it...

As for failing miserably, The guy who founded Chipotle wanted food that could be served fast, and have real, fresh ingredients. He saw folks doing it at food stands, took that idea, and ran with it. He and all of his buddies that he brought on from college are now all multi-millionaires.

Subway and Chipotle are pretty much the only fast food establishments I still go to, because I like their food. Opinions differ, but I definitely don't think they're "gross."

If the folks behind Taco Bell can make food fast, and taste as good as what you can get at Chipotle, hell yeah. I'm there.

First US Taco Co location to open in Huntington Beach next Monday Aug 11:

According to Pisciotti, all ingredients on the menu are either house-made, sourced from the same suppliers as Taco Bell, or flown in from where they were inspired, such as brisket for the “Not My First Rodeo” from Texas, or the lobsters for “The 1%-er” from the North Atlantic. Most of the restaurant’s ten tacos feature six inch, soft flour tortillas from Mission brand, though flatbreads, corn, and crispy corn shells also make an appearance.

On the rest of the menu you’ll find steak-cut fritas, real leche milkshakes, a broad selection of craft sodas from all over the country — a play on the traditional American spread of burgers, fries, and shakes — and an extensive craft beer and cocktail program for future locations, the next of which will “probably” be somewhere in Southern California, near Taco Bell’s Irvine HQ. Due to riots at last year’s U.S. Open of Surf, the city of Huntington Beach would not issue new liquor licenses for the Huntington Beach flagship.

U.S. Taco Co. opens next Monday, August 11. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday – Thursday; 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.

I thought were not doing the over exadurated I eat something g I go to the bathroom stuff anymore?

And miss a chance at making a lazy, unfunny joke? This is the internet, not gonna happen.

Anyways, if one these shows up 'round here, I might check it out. The prices are really cheap for a chipolte/qdoba competitor. My only problem with those places is that I could just dine-in or get take out from a far superior "real" Mexican restaurant for a couple bucks more.

Would be hard to order most of the things on that menu seriously. All the names are so goofy.

I doesn't help that almost none of the food sounds that good to me either though.

That looks fucking good.

Disappointed that the drinks are not Horchata, but it still looks good.

Horchata is the best drink in the world

People like to share things, including photos of their meals. Who gives a fuck.

MY uncle has a theory that it's a mental disease. I'm not kidding, he's talked at-length about it: he thinks its a compulsion where you can't make it through the day unless you make sure other people see what you are doing. HE said they are trying to add scarce meaning to an empty life. He said it's the same as people who put their political and religious beliefs on bumper stickers.

HE gave a similar rant about reality tv watchers being so unhappy with their own life that voyeurism is their only escape

It really doesn't matter what they do for my tastes unless the tortillas are homemade. That is one of the key ingredients that any good Mexican restaurant in Mexico City or Los Angeles has.

Good looking menu. Seems like they're probably fans of Torchy's Tacos.

I do wonder about mixing milk shakes with tacos though. It does sound like it'd lend itself to a stomach ache for me.
